So for the first time since the Sims 4 came out and after playing it for over a year; to this day it's the only video game/computer game that I play. I decided to have a baby with my Sims. The only comment I have that is some what irritating, why do they put the baby in the inventory rather than letting the mother carry the baby? Then, it took me a moment or two to figure out where the heck my baby was. In build mode in the inventory. I don't think I like that very much. I like the way it was in the Sims 3 and you could carry your baby out. OH! And I tried to have my Sims boyfriend there and he was with my sims until we got to the hospital and he left, like what the heck dude, you are the father -laughs;

I'm not sure why your baby ended up in the inventory. That's not supposed to happen

That doesn’t sound right, if you have the baby at the hospital it usually despawns from there and gets sent to the home lot. From there it’s put in a crib at a random location in the house.

Yeah it's supposed to happen how Crystal said..sounds like you got a glitch.

I would make another save and try it again with a different couple to see if it happens again

The only time I had my baby end up in the household inventory is when I moved house. Did your Sims move?
