I like the less colorful bushes- unless it's a more tropical area. Maybe leave those for in the lots.
I would look at the way EA did Bridgeport. They usually ended those in rock or another retain wall.
Me too It is between the city and behind some apartments, a resort. So I feel the less bright trees look better. I think I'll leave a couple of the pink ones in for now.
Ahh that makes sense, I'll put a rock at the end of it then. Another wall will still have the gap since it is only closed on the one side.
What I would do is make flat areas and then slope it down to another flat area. Check out Bridgeport and see how they did it... A few flat areas combined with slopes.
No, no. Not that side of the map. More like they use the retaining walls in sections along the roads so the roads can slope down... Sometimes they just slope it down and have the road go down. It can be a short slope to save space.

Thanks. I like it a lot more than the previous attempts. I think it looks much more natural, I might just want to remove some of flowery bushes.

It has an opening on the side here and I can't seem to cover it up. Any ideas/recommendations ?
If lover it, the other part gets covered in grass.
WHne I place streetlights and signs, do I place them on the sidewalk area of the road or?

Also, should I paint dirt under the trees or just leave it green?

I did but it is hopelessly too long for my road. I'll check again but I'm sure both of those were too long.

When placing street lights and signs do I place them on the sidewalk?

If I remember correctly I think in legacy island you placed them on the edge of the lot? Is that good placement?

What about a stone post or bollard?
I usually have this web page open in the background when I'm working in caw, it's not complete but it helps.

I'm in need of your expertise, the whole city area is on a risen area. So what I'm wondering is what to with ALL those slopes XD
Should I do what you helped me with before? I feel like it be overdone then but I have no idea of what to do to make it look pretty.

Is this what you mean?
I'm not sure how well that would work since this slope isn't too big, I placed a tree for comparison
I tried it,
then smoothed the edges to make the slope again and painted them rock color or else it doesn't show
Is this kind of the idea you had?

No need to make such long or many steps.
Very confused XD
I'll go back in game tomorrow and try to find it.

Something like these- @06Bon06
See how they use some of the retaining walls in the city but it's gentle slopes?
You can also just go gently without walls and part of a lot-
Ahh thank you.
Do you think the walls will look good around my city? I'll try it tomorrow ^^
So some retaining walls with gentle slopes and some gentle slipped areas without walls.
Edit: i think this sounds like a really interesting idea and look.
