Game update issues.

Hi
I have Sims 4 because I bought it to see if I liked it, and I didn't, so I have stuck to Sims 3. However I do update my Sims 4 whenever I see a notice that there is an update to do. Paid a fortune for it so I might as well keep it nice and tidy. Tonight the game wouldn't update and wouldn't start either. Dead in the water. After a hasty check here I clicked the "repair" button. Which started "something" happening. Next time I looked the game was finally getting its act together and updating.
Does this happen a lot now? Any clues why? Is it likely to have an effect on my one saved game?

Sometimes simmers have Sims 4 updating issues. Repairing the game like you did will often help. Doing that won’t affect your save game.
