vampire glitch

I have a vampire who cannot sell any paintings on the painting thing (sorry). He can sell to gallery or from his wall in his house or from inventory also from the easel. Other sims come and look at what he is selling but no one buys. It makes no difference what % the mark up is whether it is high or none at all.
Any ideas?
