I can't harvest trees

I used buydebug to buy apples, lemons, and the other tree harvestables and placed them on the ground. And my sim planted them. Everyday either my sim, or her gardener waters and weeds the trees. They have fully grown, and my sim has the option to evolve them, but she never has the option to harvest them. It always says that there is nothing to harvest and to come back later. It's been 3 or 4 sim weeks and there's still nothing to harvest. She has the option to harvest her other plants, just not the trees.
I have this issue in at least two different save games. And I've already tried resetting my sims 4 folder.

There is an issue with buydebug plants, They often don’t have a harvest. It would be best to harvest plants from the wild and use those fruits to grow your fruit trees.
