Some Gallery Pets are blacked

Using this Fox family for example, even though it certainly isn't the only one that does this. I'm assuming it could either be mods or other expansions the uploaders have and use?

Lets say I wanted to play with the dogdeer
I can remove the glitch coat, which gives them one of the normal dog coats.

Mm, you could try repairing the game via Origin?

Also, just incase you don't know how to, to repair a game through Origin you must go to your game library,
right click the game, and press repair. If it's grayed out, it might be another issue.

Well, I only literally have just the base game Sims 4 and the expansion Cats and Dogs, nothing more...

So, that would mean no CC or mods?
Also, from what I'm seeing it only happens on a few gallery pets?

You may find something helpful in these forum(s).
One that seemed to work particularly well in the second one is this:
''GUYS - i might have find tiny solution - use the pet from galery, merge it with your house - go into pain mode - it should show you its colours - use eyedropper (E) and add on the pet anywhere the same colour (you wont change its look) but to me it show after the pet as intended. Hope it will work for you too''

I have had to add spaces throughout the links, when pasting them remove the spaces anywhere.
But yeah, this coat buggery is a bit problem some if just wanted to get into a Wildlife type challenge with em. I shouldn't have to repaint the dog (or cat) to look similar to what it was before.
Yep. Gallery pets. Only "mod" I had at the time was MCCC, nothing else.
Though now I got a few mods to stop the random pet clothes, as well as the workaround for the vet-bug.
Tried plopping dog straight from original simmer's library, dog is still blacked.
At this point, I'll try just about anything.
Pupdate:
Well, not this dog but a recent family I gave some cats these markings in these colors. Why are the dogs having the cats colors?

Not sure, because I discovered something quite accidentally. See my post above, I edited it.
Obviously a cat, but game is thinking it is a dog (kind of)! Notice the selected Dog coat on the right, and the color of the cat(dog)
Here's a normal cat with the normal cat coat options

Was testing the play-with-genetics for customized coats. And, accidentally discovered dogs from gallery got the cat coats put on 'em.
No this happens without cc or mods as well.

A lot of people have problems with my animals! Maybe because they are so many different painting on them. There are all CC Free.
