After my self-created Afghan hound aged up, I wanted to adopt a puppy to see how dogs interact with each other (got a dog and a cat in another household). I checked which of the puppies my sims got along with right away (so that didn't growl at them upon introduction) and turns out, it was another Afghan hound puppy lol. So yes why not, there are plenty of people who always pick the same breeds.
Anyway these two are SO cute together. In the beginning, Rufus wasn't too excited about Loki, suddenly demanding more attention from his owners and barking at him. But Loki just kept being cute and always hanging out around Rufus (they sleep in different rooms) and now I just can't stop looking at them together! They're so adorable xD my heart will melt from all the cuteness in this game.
(ETA: I also just love finally having the dogs in this particular house. It's what I built downloaded and decorated it for (in Granite Falls Forgotten Hollow (I keep mixing these two up), where it still stands), so it had become harder and harder to continue playing them until they finally got their dog! )
My next animated character. I was going to say canine again but I remembered Mightyena isn't a canine. Here's my take on a Pokémon. I think it looks fluffier than my Sims 3 version.
I took Buddy to the cove and saw a townie walking one of my dogs, Charlie. I thought it was funny. The Sim coming out of the bathroom is my best friend and roommate.
All 3 pets I made wound up on the cove. Mightyena appears to be a stray.
