Cant seem to swipe items

Hello my sim cant seem to swipe items. she has level 2 in the mischief skill. But i cant swipe a thing. Can someone help me?

They swipe small things first and get larger as the skill increases and no one can be around when they swipe.

you need to increase your mischief skill in order to have them swipe stuff

Your sim needs to have the Kleptomaniac trait
