@equuest I'm sorry, I don't know what DITFT is. Is it a legacy challenge?
Its the Differences in the Family Tree Challenge. Here is a link to the instructions on modthesims.info http://modthesims.info/t/535355 Its a great challenge that I've never finished but have had great fun attempting.
Loving yourself is the most simple and complicated thing you can do for you.
I really wish someone would take this over and update it for the new packs. It seems like the creator abandoned it. Random legacy was my favorite in sims 3 and 4
Hmm... I think it has been updated? At least it looks like it in the feedback-section. I tried the generator and got a City Living career.

Here's an update on my legacy! Alex Brooks- the sim I moved into the apartment building- moved in with my founder. They're engaged and expecting twin boys! Their names will be James and Logan. I'm not doing a matriarchy (where the heir has to absolutely be female) but if one of the twins has a first-born daughter then that's okay. It also depends on which brother I choose to continue with.
Origin ID HillyPlays P.A.C.E- Positive Attitude Changes Everything
It's one of those things that Simmers either love or hate; I'm not a huge fan myself of the traditional rules, which is why I play it set in the modern-day world. (I don't like the "slaves," for example, so I changed that in my own gameplay). Naturally women seem to prefer playing this challenge, so if you're a dude you might feel a little differently about playing it.

I keep trying to start it, but I can’t get into like I want to. Maybe I just haven’t created a founding Sim I like enough? But I might give it ago again. Thanks for your thoughts!

I tried a new legacy challenge called The Parentcy Legacy Challenge: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/797716/ts4-parentcy-challenge/p1
I like it that each generations has specific goals/rules & it forces me to explore different aspect of the game that I haven't played.
