Something I'd personally love to see added to this game is a concept that goes back to Sims3, but would be incredibly helpful in keeping track of things in Sims4 (where there's more to keep track of) would be a UI option attached to our sims that keeps track of what collectibles they've found (and the percentages--this would include not just the figures they find in the special boxes while digging, but also things like rocks and minerals, plants (as well as which ones they may have planted as well as harvested and quality), fish, etc.) but also what types of plants they've cultivated or grafted along with the "recipes" for them that they've discovered and quality but also even just the recipes they've found through the food vendors downtown.
With the latter, there are so many stalls and recipes that when playing a game with many sims, it can become difficult just to keep track of which sims have eaten where and which dishes they've discovered (and with 27 dishes in total, it can become a logistical nightmare having to keep track of oneself).
If we had a chart or option of some type within the game, itself, it would make things much easier from an organizational perspective.

Click on your sim's inventory icon and click on that gem icon. A panel opens up that shows what you have collected and what you have not. It even shows the icons of the game/expansion packs they came from.
Grafting recipes are automatically written down by the game. Every time your sim discovers a new plant through grafting, the recipe will show up in your sim's notebook. Notebook can be found on your sim's phone (Icon with pencil and phone) and can also be accessed from the computer. The notebook will also be used when sims discovers what bait lures what fish, the inventions and seriums for scientists and clues of the suspect for the detective ect.
About the City Living recipes, yes, that may be a nightmare as the only way to know what your sim has learned is to cook something. About the others, they're in the game. The collection tracker is here since the release, notebook since Get to Work patch.
