Not sure if this is a bug or not

My Sim asked her boyfriend over to meet the baby , no problem there. Having said that the toddler is now about to age up into a child and I can't get rid of him. There is no option to say ask to leave. There is an option to ask him to move in but I don't actually want him moving in but it's as if that is exactly what he has done.

Is this normal? If not how do I get rid of him?

This AHQ EA thread refers to the issue. Once the toddler ages up, it will no longer occur.

Try having your sim and toddler travel to another lot, then back home again and see if he has left then.

Thanks for this, the info is correct my toddler was a boy and when aging up to a child the visitor went home.
