Number of Deaths Witnessed

There are two sims in my household. One of my sims works as a scientist and his coworker died while at work. A couple days later, I sent him to work on his own and my other sim went out for lunch. The waitress died while he was there, however, when I click on my sims statistics, it says they have both witnessed TWO deaths even though they only witnessed one each.

Could they have perhaps have already witnessed a death previously , before the recent death?

Do both Sims show a total 2 deaths witnessed?
I am wondering if the game is counting the total number witnessed by the household.

It's a bug. One of my sims is supposed to have witnessed 50 deaths, while in reality he only has seen 6.

Yep. Now it's saying that one of my sims has witnessed 5 deaths and he has not witnessed any other deaths since I created this thread. And the other sim in the household has still only witnessed 2 according to his stats. I thought it might have been counting all the deaths witnessed by the household but I don't think so anymore.

Do you have any mods/cc in your game?
If you don't, or if you can test your game without the mods/cc in it and the issue still occurs, you may like to start a new thread on the AHQ EA site and post about the issue there
