Toddlers and high chair

Am I the only one who had serious problems with the high chair and the toddlers ? It is really awful to play with these.

When I select to give them food, Sim go and put the food on the high chair. Sim get the action to take toddler, but then stop and I have to click again on the chair. Sim go, take the infant, put it on the chair... then take the infant down ! NO NO NO ! Put it back on the chair... sim go to do something (shower, of wathever), then STOP what he is doing and just go and take the toddler down when he didn't have time to finish eating !!

After that, when I want adult to train their toddler with, for example flash cards, they take the child in their arms and put the toddler in the high chair without any reason ! Flash card action is canceled and it takes age to take back control of my sims because they continiously do this for each action that is related with toddler.

- Want to take a bath ? OKAY ! Put toddler in the high chair
- Want to potty train ? OKAY ! Put toddler in the high chair
- Want to hug mommy ? OKAY ! Put toddler in the high chair

It's driving me crazy !

What I dit :

- Repair
- No mods
- Tried a new game by deleting Sims 4 folder in my documents
- Did a new installation of the game...

I've had an issue crop up where I put my toddler in a high chair, but they ask to be let out before the parent can get them their food. I learned to put the food down, then put the child in the high chair, but on occasion, I'm not fast enough and instead of automatically starting to eat the food right in front of them, the toddler asks to be let out again.

Yes it happened. Honestly I sold the High chair and I put food on the floor. Toddler takes the food and is not starving anymore. It still doesn't solve everything but this is better than loosing the toddler.

Okay so it's almost a year since this was originally posted and here I am, super late to the party but coming across this issue as well. Has there been a fix that I just don't know about? And if so what is it? Cause you are absolutely right in saying that it is annoying when they put the toddler in the high chair when you told them to give the kid a bath, or to play, or to potty train... Also am having troubles with them saying the route to is blocked when they put the kid in the chair and get them food. They put the kid in the chair, pull out the food but then wave their arm and give the little blocked route bubble. It seems to happen regularly but more often when I have two chairs next to each other and at a table. Although I've had one chair at the table and the other against the wall and still came across this issue. Am currently just playing without a high chair but it would be nice to be able to use the crud I'm supposed to be able to use.

Yes it is still occurring for me. Less often, but still happening. I stopped buying high chair and just put the food on the floor...
