Hello! I really like the idea of having more storage-type deco items, or just messy stuff in general. An example of this would be jars filled with various things such as rice or oatmeal, or an "open" cabinet (of course, it wouldn't serve any additional purpose, it would just appear as though it were open so that you can see the plates and junk piled/stacked haphazardly inside). At the moment my sims' kitchens, though lovely and sleek, look a little sterile- like nobody lives in the home, or the owners of the house are obsessed with making their house look as sparse as a hotel room. I think this is where an eco-style set of decorations could really spruce up the game, and that's why I think other people probably voted for it too. Small things like chipped mugs, baskets, or chesterfields with blankets thrown over the back can really breathe some life and personality into the game. c: I believe it was already mentioned, but a non-functional broom would also be very cute for tucking in a corner somewhere.
As for chairs, if it were possible, I really think a hanging chair would be super cute/cool!! Like, maybe as though to appear that the sim who owns it literally strung it together one day out of pure necessity because they're too lazy or minimalistic to buy an actual chair? (lol :''D) Perhaps something like this?
Thanks everyone for all the references and suggestions! There are a lot of inspiring references for the art director to look at and consider. Closing the thread now.
