What does the represent friends reward do? It's in the social media career. Does you friend get more followers or anything?

Sim friend's career performance will go up, meaning it will help to get their friend promoted quickly.
No followers for friend because not every sim has social network. They either need to join the career or get level 5 in Charisma skill.
This option is for those sims who is in Public Relations branch in Social Media career.
