Death Flower

My sim has grown perfect Death Flowers but when she harvests them, they don't show up in the Household Collection, it remains greyed out. How do I get it to count in the collection? Thanks.

This thread on the AHQ EA site has said that the death flowers are not a part of the gardening collection

From what the link says, it sounds like death flowers are now not being counted as a part of the gardening collection. It would be good to post feedback on that thread. I am not sure if this is meant to be by design or if there is a game issue.
Has death flowers been counted as a part of your gardening collection in other save games?
Edit : There is a space for death flowers so it may be a game issue either in the sims game or in your save game that it is not being counted.
Try making a room and place a death flower in it. Save the room to your library. Then start a new save game with a random sim. Place the saved room into the house and put the death flower into the inventory of the sim. Test to see if that counts in their gardening collection.

The Death Flower never counts, no matter how my sim gets it.

While the Gardening Collecting is showing as complete it doesn't count as complete and my collections are still 21/22.

If your hsve cc/mods in your game, move the mods folder to,the desktop and see if the issue remains.

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder.
