How long can you hold your breath? I had to quicken the video a bit tho cuz it needs be be under 1min to be uploaded to Imgur. XD Take this 'test' with a pinch of salt and don't hurt yourself! :P

I got up to 8 but the first time I saw the video when it wasn't sped up, I only got to a 6. I don't consider my lungs normal/strong either since I have asthma. 🤣

I closed my eyes and when I finally opened them the countdown was already at 1, meaning I held it past 10 :o that's crazy though 'cause I'm currently seeing a lung specialist, having been diagnosed with a lung condition 2 years ago. I've been doing better lately and the kind of condition I have can go away on its own, so these results may actually be an indication of recovery :)

oh and also, @DeKay I've never had a mug cake, but after reading the other replies I'm guessing that the fudgy brownie is more moist? If so, then yes, I prefer that

Did you also take a breath first, then blow most of it out? Taking a deep breath first and trying to hold it makes matters worse, as it's CO2 buildup that causes so much trouble, sooner than actual oxygen debt.

Wish I were a great swimmer. I get water up my nose no matter what, so never did well at anything with my face in the water.

I got to 5. And I don't even have asthma. And i have swam for 8 years. HOW MAN HOW.

How fast do you usually breathe air when swimming? Now, I'm curious. 🤔 Cuz do swimmers actually hold their breath that long? When I watch all those sports adverts or events, they tend to just breathe whenever their face is above the surface. But I guess it also makes sense to do that cuz it's gonna be really difficult swimming fast and holding your breath. 😅

As for me, I don't swim. I'd probably panic if I have to hold my breath underwater even for 10 secs. 😂 But I do sing a lot, and singing is also a little bit like swimming in terms of the breathing. Them long notes require a lot of air. 🤣

Honestly, I am not sure, I only had a fudgy brownie once and it wasn't moist. But I think the moisture is not what matters cuz you can have a cakey brownie with undercooked/moist chocolate in it, and you can have a fudgy brownie like that too.

Like what Nush said earlier on, fudgy brownies is just very dense and compact (almost like a fudge bar). The one I ate was nothing like a cake, not even close and it really puzzled me. 😂

I'm mildly asthmatic, so I'll be lucky to even hold my breath for 3 seconds.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm even asthmatic. I can hold my breath pretty normally I guess, but I can't even pass the Spirometry test. But that test is more like how long you can blow out air (and how strong). I can't do it at all. LOL.
There is one way to tell if you are asthmatic or not. That is go to your doctor and have them do an oxygen count on your blood. The oxygen level in a person's blood should be within normal range. If it's not, then that person is asthmatic. Your doctor should explain in better detail about what I'm talking about. Spirometry tests can tell if you asthmatic or not, but it's only for testing to see how well your lung are moving air in or out. But since you said that you can't past that test with normalcy. Then I urge you to go to your doctor and have them take a reading of the oxygen level in your blood. Because it sounds to me like the oxygen level in your blood is going to be a little low. This is important DeKay because people can die from low oxygen levels in their blood.

always good to get checked...but if you can get a pulse oxymeter, it's just a little device that clips onto the end of your finger, that does the same thing in seconds, no office visit required. Very useful in the case of Covid, also!

here's what I'm talking about: shows pulse rate and oxygen saturation. Affordable and convenient.

That will work to. The only thing that matters is that someone checks out the oxygen level in their blood stream. If they suspect that their oxygen saturation level is a little off. But even with that little device, they still should consult a doctor about this.

    Today's Q Q is:
What animal do you think best reflects your personality?

Maybe a cat? Always seem unbothered and also not want to get close to people. 🤣 (At least from my experience, my cats aren't very clingy to me. LOL.) Kinda quiet. Kinda like a ninja. Oh, and also, I always want to go out but after going out for a few hours, I wanna go back home.

Thanks, sunman and Nush. Hehe, now I wonder what my oxygen level is. I've never taken a test to check that before. I don't know why the doctor at the clinic even suggested me to take the spirometry test and that was when I had pneumonia. 🤣

The good thing is that I'm not super asthmatic (like needing an inhaler and such). But last year, I took some medication for my migraine and the doctor said that I might get side effects with the pills if I had asthma and they didn't know for sure since there is not an updated record if I still have asthma. But I did get a side effect using those pills. 😂 Thought I was gonna die from not being able to breathe.

Nush, the petals look prettier to me on the ground but maybe cuz the picture shows a better look at the petals on the ground and there's more details.

As a swimmer, you normally breath after you do 3 strokes. For example, if your doing freestyle, you bring your left arm around, then your right, then your left again, and breath. Meaning you normally are holding your breath for 5 seconds. However, sometimes the coaches have you take a test. They make you jump off into one end of the pool, hold your breath, and see how far you can swim before you have to breath. I did this test in a 75 foot pool, and got 3/4s to the end. I did this about 2 years ago tho, and stopped swimming over covid.

Ok. I think the animal that reflects me is a Scorpion. I WAS BORN on november 5th. Meaning I am a Scorpio. However, I think my zodiac sign really defines me. Im an introvert, I like blood and gore and that stuff, Im a lot more mature then my friends, so thats why I would choose a Scorpio.

Oh, I see. Maybe it's cuz it's been some time since you did it. 🙈

A giraffe. Usually pretty chill but can get aggressive to protect their loved ones.

a cat/dog hybrid :# sometimes I'm stupidly friendly with everyone, wagging my metaphorical tail with a dog-like enthusiasm, other times I just glare at the world with the self-centred indifference of a cat

Chinese astrology says water buffalo. Hubs says Panther. Someone else told me I was like the spider-on-LSD meme, but I say I'm whatever Gonzo is. 🤪

    Today's Q Q is:
What is the most interesting class you've ever taken?

Songwriting. It was super fun and really cool. After learning some stuff from that, I would listen to songs and see if those songs applied some of the tricks or techniques I learnt and they mostly do! :O
