Is there a mod

Is there a mod that will allow me to sell pets or allow me to give pets to other sims? I know I can place them for adoption, but it actually just gets rid of the pet. I would rather see my puppies/kittens/foals around the town.

I don't have mods so no idea, but if you want to see pets you have bred around town breed unicorns, they can teleport so even if you fence them in they will be all over town! Between my 2 unicorn houses I have about 12 of them and they breed like rabbits!! Maybe you can do an "add to household" with other sims with your animals??

It's not a mod, but I go into Edit Town, pick the household where the kittens/puppies/foals are, click the icon that lets you separate out family members, and pick the pet I want to place and move it out. It goes to the clipboard (temp memory spot) and then you can place it in any other family, unless they're at their household limit.

If you actually want to sell pets rather than give them away to friends or shove them into unsuspecting households, and if you have Ambitions, the mod you want is NRaas Consigner.

Sometimes one, sometimes the other. There has to be a household in town eligible to purchase them from the consignment register. This is covered in the end section of the FAQ I linked to above.
