How long does it take you to reach the main menu?

«13
Just curious... How long does it take you to load the game to the main menu? And do you have CC, if so how much.

My game takes around 2 minutes to load with 4GB of CC on an SSD.

Thank you!

    Maybe a minute, not even.

Depends on several factors sometimes but I haven't had 2 mins+ load time since the laptop. Sims 4 is not made for something with a 1.5GHz processor. XP

I have no memory of this place. Time to start anew I guess

1 minute, 11 1/2 seconds from hitting the start button on Origin. Not bad at all considering my computer is 10 years old and I have 952 MB of mods.

That's pretty good, looks like I need to quit downloading so much CC. I'm terrible, seeing as I just deleted it all to start again and ended up with more than I had originally

Just under 2 minutes. I have over 1 GB CC/Mods and a huge tray folder. When I take the tray folder out, it takes less to load - Just over a minute.

Oh plumb I forgot to check the size of my Tray. I dread to even think! I found a pretty awesome new laptop that I want but it's £650 (4GB dedicated graphics) so I'd better save up! I currently have a desktop which I can play on Ultra with, but could definitely do with a better processor.

I keep my Tray folder contents separate from my game folder, then just plop them in before I start the game if I know I'm going to access my Library. Most of the time, I'm not, so it stays out.

after thought: fairly sure I've got a SSD, and it's a 2.3GHz processor.

I have an Alienware 15 laptop (the specs are in my signature) + 2.2gb CC/mods
It takes 45.8 seconds to reach the main screen in a regular cpu/fan mode.
Intel i7-6700HQ; nvidia gtx970m 3 gb; 1tb HHD and 256gb SSD; my drivers are always up to date.
