Issue with Sims only going to work/school for 2 hours then coming back in CL

Hello, I'm not sure whether I have posted this in the right place - please let me know where I should post this instead if I havent.
As the title says, I am having an issue with my sims only going to work and school for two hours and then returning to their apartments in City Living, I also can't send them back to work or school as when I go on the careers panel it'll say 'work in 22 hours' or something along those lines after they come back. This doesn't happen on my normal lots by the way, just in the apartments from City Living.
If anyone else is dealing with this issue please let me know, or if anyone knows how I can solve this please let me know also! Thank you for reading.

There is an issue when you go into build/buy mode whilst your sims are at school or work. They return home early when you do that
It would be good to press " me too " on this thread on the AHQ EA site that refers to the issue
