Pregnancies epidemic

After the last patch, when I opened my game I had the surprise to see that almost all my female sims, adults and young adults, (it did not matter if they were married or not or If they had a boyfriend are not) were all very pregmant (end of second or beginning of third period). I closed without saving and played with an older game. There were no unwanted pregnancies when I started playing with this older game. I played for several hours and then I started to note pregnancies again. It is like the longer I play the more females Sim get pregnant and always at a late stage of pregnancy. Has anyone had the same problem? Any solution?

If you have mods/cc in your game, they may be causing this to occur.
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start a fresh new save game and test to see if the same things occur in that new save game also.

Thank you for your advice @rosemow. I have only one mod and I have put it elsewhere. I have also repaired the game, do what is necessary to have a new sims 4 folder, and replaced all my families with pregnant sims (that was looooooooooooooong) with families in my Library. I will test to see if all that eradicates the baby-boom.

Could I ask what mod you have? If it's too "adult" for thread mention, I'm going to drop a PM in your box, so you can let me know that way. I'm intrigued.

@egwarhammer I have answered you on my box. But it is not at all an adult mod. It has nothing to do with pregnancies. It is a mod that stops relationships culling and decay.

The thing is, SOME of Neia's mods (maybe all, I have no idea) are UI mods. If this is one of those, they tend to break with Every Patch. If EA changes a screen, anywhere, those kinds of mods have to be updated after a patch. (I asked @Neia .) More Clubs Per Sim is one. It was the *only* MOD I saw that broke with the lighting patch. LOTS of cc lights were broken at the time, naturally. But AFAIK just the one mod, so, I went begging for details on why.

Try the updated versions, maybe a redownload will fix it for you. If not, if you'd like to check out how MC handles culling and pregnancy and a whole lot more, let me know. (Tons of links in my sig.)

I gotta admit, when you asked THIS one, I did wonder how anybody could have MC installed, and not know that. It's pretty hard to miss. LOL!

Bookmarking this thread to follow if it's my mods doing that. I don't know how they could do this because there's nothing about pregnancy in the culling, I'm using them without encountering any pregnancy epidemy. Thankfully because I have far too many Sims already

Thank you @Neia.That is also for me part of the problem. My maps are full. I really do not know what I would do with all those babies. Is there an orphanage mod available?

As promised I am reporting on this problem. After a lot of experiments (1 new game with only maxis families, and buildings and no mods and one with mods, and 1 game with my families and buildings without mods and one with them) without unwanted pregnancies, my conclusion is that my save was corrupted for a reason or another. So Neia's mods are not at fault. Alleluia! I could not live without them.
