LOL my college is driving me crazy (Sims related)

I'm a architecture student and I was like 3 days in a row making plans in AutoCAD for my degree work, I only slept about 3 or 4 hours each day.

For those who don't use AutoCAD, sometimes curved or round objects can turn into polygons, so you have to write a command called "REGEN" to make them curved again. Like in this gif:



When I finally finished, I run The Sims 4 to rest my mind. I was making some changes in the house when I saw that one of the lamps was not entirely round, even looked like a hexagon. So I typed "REGEN" on the keyboard unintentionally, it took me about 10 seconds to realize why that command didn't work .

I dont know you guys....

But would be nice if EA make a kind of agreement with Autodesk so one can export/import DWG to Sims3/4 blueprints

LOL OP. I had a RL experience that doesn't even come close to yours. I was heavy into the Sims2 (my first REAL gaming experience, too). I was so into it that I found myself mentally visualizing my skill bar filling up as I cleaned the toilet in my bathroom.

I've used sims games to figure out how to rearrange furniture in rooms in my real life house. Did it one time to try show my husband how I wanted the room because he couldn't figure out what I was telling him without seeing it first. It worked and I got my wish to move the furniture.

Haha, I know that feeling. I use Maya for animation and when we want to rotate, we hold down "Alt" and the right mouse button and sometimes I tend to do that when in build mode in TS4.

I also use The Sims for inspiration while designing or when I need to see how it will be the house I'm designing, without taking so long making a render .
