The Sims 4 doesn't launch

I guess today is the "everything doesn't work day" ugh.
The application of The Sims 4 doesn't launch.. Origin get opened, but TS won't start not even in the task manager... if I try to start playing from Origin the button "Play" appears unselectable.

Log out of origin. Shut down your computer completely. Start the computer again, then log back into origin and see if that helps.

If the issues still remain, repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.

Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go,to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game

I am glad that the issue is fixed
Repairing the game can often help issues. You don't need to be concerned about the issue ocurring. It is fixed now. If it occurs again in the future, try doing the same thing again and see if that helps then also.

No that just means the technical stuff that lets Origin connect for Origin in game isn't working. Might be a server problem or maintenance, might be your firewall or ports be blocked on the router or even a change your ISP made. tre turning it on again tomorrow, if it doesn't work, probably firewall of ISP. having it off is no big deal for TS4.

@DarkAmaranth1966 yeah it might be the firewall cause i'm currently using internet of the dormitory I'm living in.. but it was strange because it has always worked! It could be even the new patch because as soon as I repaired it and it opened, a window popped up saying that for the new patch they have disabled all the mods.. anyway now it's working

When there is a game patch, the game disables mods/cc and you then need to go to game options to re enable them.
I am glad it is working now
