Daniel killed the woman at the halloween party and Briar was a witness. Daniel kept hold of her and threatened August to keep him away so she couldn't tell him. She took the knife in attempt to kill Daniel but it failed a first time. She faked her death so she could be free of Daniel who would've killed her as he knew she wanted him dead. Then, when the heat died down, snuck back to the house to talk to Beau before she left with the knife, hoping he would take the knife back to August as she wouldn't need it. BUT, that's where she found Daniel trying to kill Beau and killed him out of anger for herself and to save Beau. She took Beau to that lady's house (a friend of a friend) and left him a note not to contact August. She knew August wouldn't be convicted but she didn't want Beau to talk to August and possibly remember him seeing her there at the house. She also didn't want him to remember it when the police arrived to question him.
Okay, so Siobhan is disguised as one of the banner characters when she committed the murder!

The woman at the halloween party worked for the Bambinos. She witnessed what happened to the Blackwell's dad (and other people). She wanted out of it all and was going to report them to the police. Ethan killed the woman and Daniel & Briar witnessed it. Daniel kept quiet about it because his parent's worked for the Bambinos and would've died if he squealed about who was in charge of the killing. It's why he was so scared of August when August beat him up. He thought he was the Bambinos trying to scare him as he planned to go to the police.
The rest of it is the same as before but here's a reminder...
