Apart from the obvious pets, seasons, toddlers, and supernaturals I bet %90 would list. What else would you like to see to come to TS4 in the future?
I would love to see quite a few things. I'll list a few I want the most.
- Cuddling in bed ; I loved this in previous games, I would love to see it return, it just doesnt feel right to see sims staying on their side of the bed without touching.
- Moar beds! ; I find beds really lacking. I would really love to see like a bedroom stuff pack to introduce new bed(s). I would really love to see some contemporary beds, instead of super traditional or super modern.
- Body hair ; I love body hair for my male Sims, and i'm absolutely in love with LumiaLoverSims' body hair, but i'd like to have some maxis-match variations
- More showers ; Don't get me wrong, I love the showers in the game. But i'd love to see a bit more variation. I would definitely like some kind of open showers with water coming out the ceiling, I love those showers IRL.
- Apartments & Penthouses ; Apartments and penthouses are something I used a lot in S2 and S3. I really enjoyed them and enjoyed the limited space and the creativity you could get with them.
- Video-game consoles ; I think video-game consoles would be great. Sims could buy games, play solo, or online with other sims to boost relationship, or co-op where multiple sims could play at a single console.
- More TV stands ; TV stands are someone I also find really lacking in the game. I just don't like the current ones I have. I would love to see like a wood cabinet with glass windows in it that you could sit a tv on.
- Vacation Destinations ; Now OR was great, but I want a bit more. I would love to send my sims to an island resort for my sims to vacation for a week and go on excursions to explore ruins or skiing, or maybe even having a day on the beach. And maybe even send them to Sim-Asia to solve millennia old puzzles, and explore a hi-tech city where you can get special technology for your sims.
Well, there are a few (a lot) of the things i'd love to see. WHat do you guys want to see?

-More vacation destination
-Wedding/baby shower/ birthday party Gp. Mostly I want wedding to be flushed out with honeymoons and gifts and more animations
-more careers like Sims 2
-more hobbies like Sims 2 style
-more hair and eye colors or color wheel of possible
-more deaths! My sims never randomly die cause I feel like there are not a many emotions as sims 2
-surprises such as meteor hitting house and death while at work or wild animal attack
-fears
- comfort bar in the life reader thing
- ability to pick baby furniture and clothing when baby is born more cribs etc.
-Pets, Seasons, University EPs
-New baby and teen objects/features
-Casino, Arcade, Mall venues
-Tropical, Cruise ship and Skiing vacations
we need: diagonal stairs, spiral stairs, l-shaped stairs, stairs that go to a platform (we also need platsforms back!!!) and other funky stairs! they r lacking as plum
I'd like to be able to re-tag or blacklist clothing, hairstyles, and walking styles for townies/NPC's without a mod, because I've never lived anywhere IRL that has half the men wearing rainbow dreadlocks and floral capris pants (is it like that in Salt Lake, not like that's a bad thing...)
I'd like some kind of different transition for travelling to another lot, but not like the Sims 3 where the car materializes on the street and the driver teleports into it. Sims 2 cars are probably Too Difficult And Expensive, but maybe there could at least be the work car pools like the original The Sims, or the public transit bus from Bustin' Out. Maybe a politically-correct articulated streetcar/light-rail? Or the Jetsons' pneumatic tubes like Elroy would take for school field trips to Russia.
I'd sorta hoped the Kid Stuff pack would have brought back the sock-puppet interaction for playful/goofball adult Sims, although it wasn't all that popular the first time.
I would like to see a relationship tree coupled with a journal that records events in my sim's lives. The tree should show all relationships, with date or number of days stamps, and can be switched between different views. Making various filters available would mean it could be used for family including in-laws, step relationships, etc. as well as friends and the strength of those friendships.
Also, why?....when every sim carries a mobile phones do they not get a phone call if a sim close to them dies when they are not on the lot.
Shake dreams from your hair
My pretty child, my sweet one.
Choose the day and choose the sign of your day
The day's divinity....

Bowling
Sewing,knitting
Juicer machine
Bingo
Poker tables
Archery
Volleyball
So much of this:
I want everything posted thus far, I'd also like a build mode upgrade with:
-Different wall heights and foundation heights per level. Sometimes I want rooms on ground level and some on the foundation. The current set up is really prohibitive.
- More decorative elements for gable roofs - like intricate barge boards, and other roof moulding styles.
- The ability to create curved pools
- proper skylight options - including an option for slanted roofs(at the moment we can only use the see through dance floor from GT)
- more triangular counter corner options ( only the harbinger counter set has triangular options)
- ceiling beams, ceiling patterns
- triangular windows
- stained glass windows
Generally- multipurpose lots, Better integration between game and stuff packs ( Backyard stuff is a good pack but I was amazed we couldn't use lemons in game to make lemonade)
Laundry and Blogging back from Sims 3 University
Honeymoons
Funerals
MORE CAREERS
Story Progression
Open World in parts
Different Stairs
Clothes for Babies!!
A large Tropical World.
A recolor tool, in-game, of some kind - any kind!
I still get peeved when things don't match, (and currently not using CC),
....and some things, like the blue kitchen counters - do not match.
Terrain tools.
I am so tired of the flat lots.
( I will stop for now. so I don't post a mini novel - especially since some others already posted some of what I'd love to have in game. )
And the ability to have sunken living rooms; I love split level houses
Like if the parents are separated, have kids come over to mom or dad's house one weekend and especially sending kids off to visit grandparents for a week or something or asking grandparent to babysit.
Also, summer and winter vacation/break for toddlers/kids/teens, but this would require seasons obv.
Mostly just the family visits.
Memories
More careers
More distinction between teens and young adults, young adults and adult.
Combined venues
World customization
Toddlers
Color wheel
Complexity is our enemy when building The Sims, so we look for any opportunity to keep it down. (c) - @SimGuruMax (LINK)
you can kinda do a sunken living room, but if we had platforms it would be better
All of these but I want tropical and alpime vacations and I don't want to solve puzzles while on vacation. I want something like Bon Voyage were they just have fun and hopefully a tour boat like we had in TS2 BV.
Also Shower Woohoo and Cars.
Couple dancing to include tangos, rumbas, salsas, foxtrots and waltzes ect.. some faster clubbing dances of course and even line dances..
Bands that are versatile and have a range of instruments that they might pick up depending on the type of music they play.. would be too cool if we could have music ranging from rock to jazz to classical.
Working farms (sandbox style).. I wouldn't mind it in a GTW format but I want the choice to just do it how you want too.
Picnic and or beach blankets that your sim can carry in their inventory maybe with the infamous woohoo added.
Couple cuddles and some more romantic interactions including the elusive bed cuddle.
Small radios to carry in inventory.
Small telescope and microscope.
Portable keyboards.
50's style clothing or rockabilly theme stuffpack.
Tropical vacation spot
Fancy vacation spot (some sort of historical/romantic possibly based off Paris)
A Disneyworld or Carnival type place to bring the kids or go on your own.
a sim can move out alone
you can transfer money to them from the families money
you can give them any furniture from the house or inventory to take with them
Interests that make a difference in relationships.
Gift-giving (and receiving).
Zodiac signs that have an impact on sims' personalities and who they're attracted to.
