Just cried for a good 20 minutes over my sims

I had a sims 3 pool party, and there were a ton of sims in the pool, and some random sim died from drowning! Is it bad that I cried over that? Hahaha

You should be laughing. I would be laughing like the sick freak that I am.

I don't even know why I cried! I'd usually laugh at it!

Yep. I'd usually laugh too, but I tend to have a morbid sense of humor.

I don't know why you cried. Maybe, you grown attached to that Sim?

Perhaps you cried because that selfish jerk had to go die and ruin your sim's party!

    Hello
Sometimes how we are feeling in our real life and what has happened during our real life day can affect us when we are Simming. We may have had a hard day, or been in pain, or been under stress or pressure, and we feel deeper for what has happened to the sims in our games.
    I send a hug to you <3

I cried when my sim's cat died in The Sims 2. It reminded me of when my own cat died. It brought back all those feelings of grief and I just started crying.

It really depends on your current emotional state, I for one cry about everything right now, even if my kids are watching cartoon network I will find something to cry about, I am sorry that you were so sad, I hope the cry helped you out, sometimes its good to have a big old cry <3

I know how you feel. A couple months ago I had a Sim die from eating a jelly bean from that magic jelly bean bush and I cried a lot. I immediately sold that blasted bush so no one else would die from those jelly beans.

I'd just be thinking...well that's one Sim I won't have to delete to keep culling at bay.

Yeh, it's not like you dropped a cheeseburger, then accidentally kicked it in the road as you were trying to pick it up and then watched it get get squashed flat by a passing car.

    Get a grip.

A Sim is not a cheeseburger.
