I finally sat my sims at a bar height counter for the first time ever. I noticed the animation from standing to being seated on the bar stool is rather choppy. It's almost like a sudden jolt from one position and into the other. It's not so terrible that I can't keep playing but it is noticeable. There seems to be no other issues. Then again, this may not be an issue, and the transition from standing to being seated is perfectly normal... I should add that the sims are not glitching or anything like that. It's just that the animation itself is not a smooth transition from A to B.
So normal? Or does it sound like I need to go through CC and mod files?

Try testing to see if mods/cc are causing the issue.Move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues.
Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder .
