AI, Artificial "Intelligence" ??

Left to their own devices, I'm afraid I really MUST argue that these are indeed NOT "Smarter Sims." Not in the least.

This one is about to starve. I had her make hotdogs. Does she eat? NO, she'd rather play with her phone...





And once her fun level is back up high enough that she can listen to her growling stomach again, does she THEN turn around and eat the hotdogs she JUST finished grilling?

No, she decides to waste MORE time by cooking a SECOND meal.





They're brain dead (I'd say stu... but it'd be censored out). No sense. No memory. I'm not seeing much INTELLIGENCE, from where I sit.

No fun to play this game right now, either, with the newly added relationship decay.

I would rather have heard that was a bug and they'd get right on a fix for it, than to be told by a SimGuru that it was deliberately added in... without prior warning of any kind to players, I feel compelled to add.

Not cool. I wish EA would FIX this game. It seriously needs major amounts of TLC on many, MANY fronts.

Hello.
If this continues to happen continually, try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps with the issue .I won't post how to do that because I know that you already know how to do that.

It gets better (?)... well, funnier, too.

I've been playing as non-intrusively as I can, just turning them loose.

VERY minor direction, I want to see what they've got when I"m not jamming them full of "do this next" things.

Until she stood there looking at 2 FULL plates of food SHE had just GRILLED... and then the "I want to do this" GRILL thought bubble appeared. AGAIN.

Enough is too much. So at that point, I DID cancel it before she could add more $ to the $30 she'd already spent. And had her pick up a PLATE.

Here's one from yesterday, married Gunther and pregnant Maaike. Age bar sparkly and FULL btw... why is pregnancy messing that up? I know it goes back to normal post-birth. (Just saw it here.)

Anyway, when I zoned in on them, they were both outside, yellow hunger, red bladder, maybe half energy. This addled game sent Gunther to the bathroom before Maaike. Did I mention she's pregnant? (I know I did, I'm being "smart" and can't use the word I'd like to, because this annoyed me.)

One bathroom. So she went to the kitchen and cooked eggs or something. Set it on the counter. Meanwhile, Gunther had gotten himself a bowl of cereal, after he finished hogging the bathroom. Maaike went walking toward the bathroom, crossed the doorway into it, and STOPPED. Toilet icon vanished.

I knew what I'd see... sure enough, I looked around, and intensely-annoying (at this point) Gunther had decided, with cereal in hand, to follow his pregnant wife to the bathroom just to complain about the dish HE had made for himself.

Knowing he was coming to talk to her was enough to make her completely forget that her bladder was close to bursting.

Gunther has about ticked his usually-benevolent overlord off. He should watch his step.

Y'know? It just makes no sense.

I am sorry that you are having issues in the game.
I will post the link to the thread on the AHQ EA site that refers to the aging bar issue when sims are pregnant for anyone else who is having the issue, to press " me too" on.

as sad your descriptions play out in game, they are funny to read
i know
my gameplay plays out similiar to yours
those sims are dumb, spoiled & self absorbed beyond any comprehence

someone said on those forums that those are the most unsympathetic sims from all the iterations
& i have to agree
that constant uncomfortable pouting is so unappealing

Oh, IKR? I would LOVE to know the secret behind why they're trying so hard to jack up the "Times Uncomfortable" stat.

I have THREE mods in. (Full Disclosure time. LOL!)

Darker Progress Circle. Show Sim Info (touches nothing, just, as it says, shows "character sheet" info). UI Cheats... which is just an interface for using the game's own cheat codes easier.

Nothing heavy hitting at all. I felt pretty safe in staking a claim here. This time.

The biggest thing I use UI Cheats for is motive filling. I don't take advantage of everything it does, but it's nice to know those things are available, if I change my mind. (The other day I asked Deaderpool about a "missing" setting from MC... he'd taken it out FIVE versions ago. )

Interesting day, in mostly-vanilla land. I can't say it's been in a good way, though.

i like to know what's what

the mods i use are non intrusive
the oldest i just couldn't play without is AlwaysStartLotsPaused by scumbumbo
the other is getpopulation by mgomez
then few regarding clubs management
& i downloaded few days ago several things by devilgurl but didn't play since then at all
nearly no CC, just the transparent dancefoor ceiling by Bakie


i have also very few things by pbox, most of her mods are meantime dysfunctional
btw
do you maybe know what's with plasticbox ?
did she gave up or is the departure only temporary ?


& i use cheats from time to time
TS4 is the first game i use cheats that often

I really don't know, and I'm curious too. I figured if SHE left, someone would say something... They did for MadameButterfly.
