Making your Own Mesh's?

So .. I am a 3d Designer, i understand how to model and stuff (I mostly use 3dstudio and zbrush) - I am trying to figure out how to make my own furniture for sims 4, but i can't find any tutorials showing me how to set it up and what programs i need to download to make it compatible with the game? ;3 Anybody know any resources? or how it works?
