It was nice and steamy and we had an excessive heat warning from Friday through earlier tonight. Now it's only 73 and there's rain in the picture. Well, I mean, we kind of need it, but my beloved heat is gone for now. *sniffle* It will be back, I know, since it's summer, but still. It was nice while it lasted.

Almost 100° here today. Then this massive storm rolled in around 7 PM and there was a spectacular light show. I chilled on the deck and enjoyed it. It lasted 4 hours! That was the best light show in a while. I also got treated to a lovely little show this morning. I'm spoiled. Haha. Mother Nature gives the best early birthday gifts though. I can't even right now. Love you, Mother Nature.

I'm the exact opposite. I always wait for the heat to go away and am sad when my beloved rain leaves xD on vacation right now so it's okay that it's hot since I can go swim in the river half of the day to cool off after walking, or go inside where it's cool and play TS xD

Typical beginning of summer in Seattle: Cloudy then sunny then cloudy then raining then windy then sunny then cloudy then beautifully clear and sunny just before it gets dark.
It's the start of hurricane season here in Florida, so it's a mixture of HOT AS HADES and storming everyday haha It's really bi-polar here, you can never guess what mother nature has in store.
