Reading this synopsis upset me greatly for some reason.

Have to teach my neice that when someone asks you to not mess with their stuff you don't ask them why. I told her that people don't need a reason to tell you not to mess with their stuff and you need to respect it.

Depending on the age of your niece and where she is during her child development, I would think it is important because that's a process that most if not all kids go through. It's how they learn by asking gazillion questions. Even if it's something that older individuals think they should know doesn't mean they understand the concept behind it unless taught. I had to teach my niece about respecting the property of others and she was not allowed to play with my dolls anymore because she purposely broke the head off one. And after giving her another chance, then she snapped the neck of another doll. Every time she came over, she seemed to always remember and recite why I wouldn't let her play with the dolls anymore. Although I didn't bring up that topic again, she did and remembered well. But if she thought I would give her yet another chance, she was wrong. While she understood the lesson, I felt she wouldn't apply it and keep choosing to continue to destroy my dolls. So I listened to my intuition and that is how you say is that.
So far, I've saved three bumble bees and released them back outside where they belong. Their nest must be somewhere close and they are finding a way inside. This happened last year too and I saved some of them but unfortunately I missed some and they died. I'm going to try to save them all this year.

People at the library seriously... I'm in the quiet study area and these ladies are looking at a shelf two feet away and they're like screaming out genres and the one lady keeps laughing and she has the most annoying laugh.
But she was just reading the back of a book and was like "she goes missing and gets murdered!" *laughs loudly* Like... okay? Am I the only one who thinks that is slightly concerning behaviour? Because death is so funny!
Seriously though, the library is possibly the best place to people watch... people here are out of their minds. I used to think the casino was the best place to people watch because people have all these insane rituals and stuff to try to get a win... but no it's the library the innocent seeming library.
Had a job lined up I was pretty excited for. The guy I would have been working under is a family friend, so there was a pretty good chance I'd be picked up for one of the spots. Got my hopes up more and more when I got a call to set up an interview and when I was told another guy that I don't know was impressed with my application. At that point, I was very excited that I'd be getting the job.
Recently found out that the higher ups cut those open spots and said that they wouldn't be hiring anyone else right now.
Needless to say, I'm very disappointed right now. Guess that's why it's not good to get your hopes up too high, though I can't say I saw this coming. Was really looking forward to it.
I guess something positive is that my friend thinks they'll re-open the positions to hire for soon (I guess in this case, maybe in a few months). We'll see.
Also, looks like WoT is happening again. Fingers crossed that they do more than a crappy pilot.
If they do it right, it will begin about when GoT ends, and be of the same standard, which would be awesome.

So today I learned why you should always double check you're going the right way through an automatic door. When the door has OUT in big bold red letters and it's a glass door and you can see people walking out it and a group of people walking in the "in" door beside it you should probably not try to go in that door because it will probably smack you in the face as it swings open for the person going out.
And they will laugh at you until they cry.
Thankfully, I was the one going out the out door. Somewhat amazingly too, lol. Some day somebody will laugh at me doing the same thing this poor guy did today... and I will laugh at myself.
This happened yesterday too at a different location of the same store, like why do people not know how the doors there work... they have some of the most obviously labeled doors I've ever seen. I didn't send the door swinging into anybody yesterday though, they realized when the door started opening, but they were probably clear of it anyway. (I totally didn't intend to send the door smacking into anyone either, I thought they'd be clear of it, oh well.)

Depending on the age of your niece and where she is during her child development, I would think it is important because that's a process that most if not all kids go through. It's how they learn by asking gazillion questions. Even if it's something that older individuals think they should know doesn't mean they understand the concept behind it unless taught. I had to teach my niece about respecting the property of others and she was not allowed to play with my dolls anymore because she purposely broke the head off one. And after giving her another chance, then she snapped the neck of another doll. Every time she came over, she seemed to always remember and recite why I wouldn't let her play with the dolls anymore. Although I didn't bring up that topic again, she did and remembered well. But if she thought I would give her yet another chance, she was wrong. While she understood the lesson, I felt she wouldn't apply it and keep choosing to continue to destroy my dolls. So I listened to my intuition and that is how you say is that.

Recently found out that the higher ups cut those open spots and said that they wouldn't be hiring anyone else right now.
Needless to say, I'm very disappointed right now. Guess that's why it's not good to get your hopes up too high, though I can't say I saw this coming. Was really looking forward to it.

I didn't send the door swinging into anybody yesterday though, they realized when the door started opening, but they were probably clear of it anyway. (I totally didn't intend to send the door smacking into anyone either, I thought they'd be clear of it, oh well.)

Hah, considering I can be the only person in the entire page that has their post not liked or anything like that does show though most probably ignored me because of a past event... That I won't be afraid to bring back should I get annoyed.
