Sims 4 - Can't Cook!

Before posting this topic, I researched possible solutions. I repaired the game via origin, deleted all cache ending in 001 (and i deleted recommended cache), restarted the game, tried a different household, deleted my current gameplay and restarted, deleted all content above counters, appliances, any cooking stuff, etc. but nothing has worked. I will do the usual to get my sim to cook, but when the action bubble appears first on the que line my sims arms will stretch out on either side, and then the action bubble is gone from the que line, and she won't do anything. It's REALLY annoying. Kinda of sick on relying on the cupcake maker and eating nothing but cereal Any help? I'd really prefer not to reinstall my game. It takes, like, 6 hours if not more.

I've never had this problem - but have seen lots of people complain about it.

What happens if your Sim tries to cook in another Sim's house - ie using their kitchen? Forget about your Sim's house - send them to another Sim's house and try cooking - just to see what happens.

That's why i always use the cheat testingcheats on that way it feels everything up until they fix it

Hello,
Do you have cc/mods in your game? If you do, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if the issue is still there.

I am just checking that you have tried selling the stove and buying a new one.

Sell the microwave because that can cause issues.

If you haven't already done so, start a new save game and test to see if the issue remains.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

Thanks for everyone's help! I tried backing everything up and restoring it to factory settings (it's the only thing i didn't do) and it's worked!
