Aliens not in disguise.

I don't know if this is intended or not, but none of my Aliens are in disguise. My Sims react to them as if they were, but it sort of spoils the fun of Aliens for me. I'd like to discover them, too.

I've tried repairing my game, resetting my game and all the other tricks I can think of, but none have worked.

I know that MC (mod) can force Aliens to always be in disguise, but right now I'm playing without mods. However, if anyone knows of a mod that fixes just this issue, I'd consider it.

Hello.
You have tried resetting the sims 4 folder? Just in case you haven't, to do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

Perhaps save your sims to your library, then start a new save game and place the sims in it, and see if the aliens are in disguise in that save game.

Thanks @rosemow. I've tried it all and I'm playing a new game with new sims and a new TS4 folder. I don't remember having quite so many undisguised Aliens before GT.

I am sorry that you are having this issue. Perhaps you could install MC Command Center but only install the main module and the occult ( aliens) module, instead of installing all the other modules of the mod . I know that you are preferring not to use mods in your game though.

Have you been to Sixam or alien promotional night? These events both make aliens not wear their disguises and it has been reported that they will continue to not wear disguises unless something happens to make them change into their disguise (such as a player changing them into it when playing them).

i was playing a new game last night and the same thing happened to me @dizzydee_k i have like 4-6 aliens walking around town without their disguises. i do have CC so ill test

Just an update. I've not had much time to play, but Lynne's mod does seem to work. The Aliens I fixed have stayed in disguise - so far.
