-Everything about World Adventures
-The Ghost Hunting Career
-Sculpting/Inventing
-Dumpster Diving
-Having to Learn Recipes in Order to Cook Them
-Skills having extra achievements/challenges attached to them (ie if you did so many certain repairs in the handiness skill, a certain number of statues in the sculpting skill, ect)
-Being able to see a list of all the books your sim has written/being able to reorder them
-More stuff for Teens to do. (Mostly I miss having prom & graduation)
-Fears
-Randomized Lifetime Wishes. (Ideally this would be set up with one major lifetime wish that you can't opt out of that gives massive amount of rewards but then they had a bunch of sub aspirations like they currently have that you can switch between at will)
Pet fish you actually have to feed
Firemen
Policemen
Robbers
Sims 2 Humor
Sims 2 Making Out
Cuddling in bed
Slow dancing
Trying on clothes when shopping (Sims 2/Sims 1)
Actually going to a bookstore to buy books...
There's more but it be too long of a list.

You can make a bookstore and have your sims go there to buy their books instead of using the bookcase

- Sprinklers
- The neurotic trait (and several others)
- Sending my sims to sporting events/concerts, etc.
- In general, being able to send a sim somewhere outside of the house without loading a lot (other than work or school, obvs). I don't mean open world, I mean like just being able to click a destination to send my sim to and then just returning to my household from the map. (The console versions of TS3 were not open world and could do this.) It's nice just to get them out of the way for a moment without having to load another lot.
Supernaturals
Dogs (the other pets too I guess but mainly dogs because dogs are awesome )
Seasons
Open world and vehicles (but not the ridiculous lag caused by poor routing in the worlds)
Oh yeah, some of the funny games/interactions such as pillow fighting in sims 3 or red hands from sims 2.
There's a lot of things I miss, but to keep the list shorter I'm just going to list things I really need to have back in order to truly love Sims 4. The other things I could do without as long as we get enough interesting stuff to replace them.
-Supernatural lifestates, mainly vampires and witches. The rest I could take or leave.
-fears
- Sims having interests so they don't always have good conversations with everyone
- Sims reacting to enemies properly
- Chemistry and attraction system
- Zodiac signs
- Pets
- Toddlers
- Water activities like boats, surfing, and swimming in the ocean
- The aspiration meter and the platinum plumbob
- the sims 1 style of dark humor
- Some careers like Paranormal, Politics, Journalism, Dancer, etc...

- Teens having more activities specific to teens
- Cemeteries

-Slow Dancing (TS2 style, but at minimum TS3 style)
-Chemistry between sims
-Likes/Dislikes
-Zodiac signs that mean something
-Wants and fears
-At the least whims for sims to want to have children (have been playing since launch and have never seen this.)
-More in depth colour swatches, if they couldn't add in CAST they could have at least given us TS2 style swatches.
-Bigger worlds
-In depth EP's with more than one new thing added
-More playground equipment
-Normal sized stuffed animals and dollhouses (any huge object too)
-Video games
-Non forced cellphones
-Landline phones
-Newspapers
-Swimming in the ocean
-Terrain editing
Did someone say in-game neighborhood creation tools yet? Because that's what I miss the most.
And I'm talking terrain tools and all the other stuff ala Sims 2/3. I am not interested in some new "streamlined" tool with 2 templates that I can't edit without reprogramming the entire game and 4 tree options that I'll never want to use because they are only available in neon colors. I want the good stuff.
See that crying smiley up there, Maxis Gurus or whoever??! It's heartbreaking to see someone use the saddest smiley and I chose it because that's how much I miss neighborhood creation. So do the right thing and I'll give you some of my money.
I miss
- Oceans you can swim in
- Grocery and clothes shopping
- Newspapers (Alot of people don't though)
- Dating website
- Apartments
- Witches
- Restaurants
- Bowling Alley
There's more but I can't think of them at this moment. Hopefully we'll get some of these things in the future and hey hopefully some brand new stuff as well something we can put on future lists
Just saw that... probably because it's ideas again... for upcoming packs? Yeah the OP even wrote please consider it ideas.. they probably looked at it and put it there...

Requires GTW though so I know what you mean.
Uhhh? I am going to ignore that and assume you were day-dreaming
WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?

whims, dreams, wishes which matter & are related to the sims' traits
a life time wish
the townhall marking the center of a city
at least rabbit holes rendering the collection of streets & houses to an actual city
all houses accessible & rebuildable
movable & placeable lots
crossword puzzles in the newspapers which enable the sim to train the logic skill without the need to buy anything or search for a chess table
the way sims became ill in TS2 & even could die from it if i didn't take care of the sim
apartments working like in TS2
OFB style businesses, also on home lots
i miss even the grumpy TS1 sims which needed an hour to get out of bed if i woke them up too early & they were not rested enough
& i miss the voices from TS1 & TS2
many more things which others have already listed
those are so many great things which could be there

The butter-churn
Spinning wheel
Idk but I'm moving it back...I'm not ready for it to go to a dead board.
