There's something wrong with my notifications..

When people quotes me, I no longer get a notification about it.
Can you guys find out why?
I tried to change the notification preference, but not worked.

I am sorry that you are having this issue. Try logging out of the site and then back in again and see if that helps you to receive a notification when someone quotes you. Perhaps try using a different browser and see if that changes the issue.

Happens to me too on multiple computers, and also different browsers, all settings wouldn't cause it either. Must be the forums side that's currently doing this.

@Sorak4 still gives me a notification about being mentioned though.

I didn't receive the notification that you quoted me, so the issue is affecting me as well now. It sounds like a forums issue.

We don't normally get informed that someone quotes us, only when mentioned. It was enabled for a few days a couple of times, but only for a short while.

There's definitely sth wrong with the notifications.

I got a comment on my wall but no notifications received.(I can't comment on my own wall, too. It just disappeared after pressing F5.)

The messages that we write to reply to messages on our walls often reappear later on. If your comment disappears after posting it, go to the activity feed section and check to see if it is posted there.

Yes, I know. There's lots wrong with notifications, but they haven't been working properly from the start.

We don't normally get informed when someone quotes us even though there is an option for it under preferences. The wall notification system has been wonky for months. Even tag and PM notifications are not always going through. We don't get email notifications of things either since they turned it off early on. (Some of us were getting other people's notifications.)

Logging out and in won't help.

Logging out, then back in is a temporary fix. It works for a few hours then it's back to wonky. SimGuruDrake knows about it and thinks it may actually be two problems occurring at the same time. She said she's looking into it but that was back around the first of the year. My notifications number is always wrong; right now it's stuck on "1" but when I go to the Notifications page ( click "Notifications" on the left side of profile page ) the correct number is displayed. The other problem I have is the points count not being accurate on my profile page. On the Notifications page the numbers are higher than on my profile page. I hope we get an answer soon

Those comments just appeared now...
And I found that I can't even delete it. Opps.

That can't be true.I get them from any thread I simple posted on or when quoted once in the thread!

You get notifications for tags, bookmarks, and PMs, but the notification system for quoting is not working and hasn't been for most of the time this site has been up.
