*point and click* games like Sims.

hellojewbyhellojewby Posts: 1,316 Member
I was curious if there are any other PC games that play like Sims. For the most part, point and click. Light keyboard use is ok, but mainly wanting point/click/mouse only game play.
I play SimCity and Spore already. I've recently stumbled on a Farm Simulator game that looks interesting. But am not sure if it's "use every key on your keyboard like WoW" type of game. lol
Any theme is fine, just wanting more to choose from. Thanks in advance! :)

Black and white uses mainly the mouse, but the drawback is it was made in 2001.
There's also most shooters- click to win! :)
NOT Assassin's Creed. I'll tell you that much. You have to hold down about four buttons to jump.

well that's a pain. I really only have full use of one hand. The other is limited and I maaay be able to swing that combo, but doubtful. lol Thanks again!

The two that come to mind for me are Sid Meier's Civilizations and Cities: Skylines.

Well... I figured out how to operate Dragon Age (Origins) one-handed.
Hold down both mouse buttons to move forward and move the mouse whilst holding to change direction.
    It's actually quite nifty.
Though by default they give keyboard controls...

The Broken Sword games are really addictive point and click games, there are no doubt lots of games like this online, but this is one of my favs, there are 6 games in total and each one connects with the previous one. This game is for the PC and it came out in 1996, so you may need to have a very old computer to play the first one, or find an online simulator that will allow you to play old PC games. You control it with just the mouse and if i remember right, there are no keyboard interactions.

If you don't mind small puzzle type point clicks I would really like to recommend an obscure series called Dark Parables by Blue Tea games <3
The art style is absolutely beautiful & if you are into the fable series it's an absolute bonus.

Another quirky little game I love is a two way pov point click adventure game called Broken Age :relaxed:

Oh yes one very quirky open world point clicker I love is :star: Jazzpunk :star: You are a robot spy... to this day I still dont understand the objectives but I think that was the point :D
