Hiya simmers
So today I ask you to post an image of the most retro PC item (can be anything to do with a PC hardware/mouse/computer/keyboard etc etc) you can find. It can be anything of your choice.
I'll start with this:
It can be anything and it's fine to repeat an item.
^^ I said the most retro you can find, I just meant the one that is retro and stands out most to you and it doesn't have to be the oldest item you can find, this thread is just for fun after all ^^

This is more or less what my first modem looked like. It transmitted at 300 baud, which does not necessarily mean 300 bps. The really old modems transmitted 1 bit per baud, so this one was likely 300, but could have been as high as 1,200 bps!

For those of you who don't remember.....you provided the key punch operators with information, they transferred it to the cards, they gave you the cards and you gave them to the computer department who would run them through the computer and then they would give you a print out that might be the size of an library. This whole process only took a few days.
