@Gemmabubbles Yuuuuuuup. That's why I hate modeling with TS4. Harder to pose, harder to take great pictures, the sims kind of look all the same, you can't recolor anything unless you do it yourself (they should have kept CASt), you can't layer clothes or accessories, you can't turn the camera on it's side for in game bodyshots, the lighting is terrible, and the quality is reaaaaaaally low, etc.

I swear I have never heard anybody say anything good about TS4...

It's okay as a little "side" game, but as the next generation game, nope. xD I like that they added in a bit more emotion (I refuse to believe it's new, the sims have always acted this way), no routing errors, and....they shortened the cheat codes. There, something good. :P Lol
Oh, but I forgot to include that you can't move your sims with the MOO cheat, so there goes another tick against it.
@MizoreYukii Yeah, it's not the greatet game of the century or anything, but honestly, I would've thought that someone would've liked the new CAS XD If a Sims 5 comes out, I really hope that they have learned their lesson..
@PeaceSign101 We've always had custom content sliders, so to me the body morphing isn't really new. And honestly, I don't like the pull and pushing idea, and I've even noticed that it limits your choices by a bit. And the only part of CAS that I actually like is the color swatches being up front, and the many many categories that are available. I like having short dresses separated from my long ones. Other than that, not much to go "ohhh" at.
And they won't learn their lesson, because they're EA. They don't even know the meaning of the word. :P
@PeaceSign101 I play a lot of games as well, so that doesn't really help. :P And yes, cc sliders! They allow for more intricate details to be done on your sims....or extreme details if you adjust your slider ranger. xD And you're not a bad person for not playing the game. o_o
But I do feel like a bad person for not playing Sims 3 xD I remember asking my parents if I could have it and they're eyes darted straight to the rating and they gave me a flat no. At least Sims 4 looks child friendly xD
Umm so this is for the mock assignment. Is this okay? I mean I call it strolling at the beach. Does it count as doing something too? And is it allowed to post a picture of sim in a bikini? As I'm not really sure about that xD
If I need to change it do let me know, if it is okay then I'll go ahead and explain how I edit the picture step by step
@PeaceSign101 Whaaat? But the Sims 4 has the exact same rating! xD So mean!
@BabyCarrotz Your mock counts! xD And you're allowed to post Sims in a bikini. Anything nude or extremely close to nude (so barely, barely, anything, like a string) isn't allowed on the forums.
But for future reference guys, if you make a nude edit you have to link with a warning or send the link via a PM (probably the latter to be safe). If you still want to post it to show people you have to censor it. :O
I feel spoiled now, with my 4 T-rated games (Though I'm almost a teen) and the M-rated Persona 3. (It was a gift for my sister, but I still play it myself)
Anyway, I'll make my entry soon.
Gone from this place and never coming back. P5 is good

Yay! So here is how I edit the picture.
1. First I took a screenshot of my sim in CAS. Here is the original picture:
I have no idea why the edges aren't smooth. Even though I already set my sim graphic to the highest setting. Does this happen to anyone else too?
2. Then using Gimp, I removed the white background. I followed Rivers' tutorial. I can't get rid of the white silhouettes around the edges though, I have no idea how xD
3. Then I found a background of a beach and pasted my sim on it.
4. And lastly I added a touch of lens flare effect to the picture. Final result:
@BabyCarrotz We'll be covering how to smooth edges and things like that, and yes, even with graphics up high the game still does that. It seems to only be a problem with CAS though, which is why I prefer doing in game pictures. I had no quality issues with my Gumball assignment for Candy Queen because she was so large. ^_^
As for the edges, we'll be covering that as well, but adjusting thresholds and feathering, etc. can get rid of the lines. if you mean the glow on her skin, you have to correct them by hand because the game automatically does that.
Comments
Thanks, BB xD
Oh, yeah. Misty from Pokémon? I iz down wif dat
Hahaha! It's perfect! Bobby and Misty!
And, Mizzy The three musketeers xD
Lol! *Throws on musketeer hat and rides off into the sunset*
LMAO. So cliché xD Let's ride off into the darkness
I'm finding sims 4 so much more difficult to model with ahh. My graphics look so bad compared to 3??
