I'm back and can't wait to build another Micro just to clarify do we still have to allocate 5x5 for the building and the rest for landscaping?
@Pebblycat Welcome back! For this theme you can use the 100 tiles in any combination that you'd like.
Sorry if I'm being a bit thick...but for this build I can potentially use up to 100 tiles per floor and no landscaping? Or is it 25 tiles per floor and 75 tiles for the landscaping?
Footprint: Lot not to exceed 10x10 (100) tiles (including living space & landscaping)
I understand your confusion Each challenge may set different qualifications.
Per @BUTTONSGINGER For Theme 7: Under Development the only restriction is the requirement to stay within the 100 square allotment.
Everything including the building and landscaping must be within that space.
I hope that helps.
@Pebblycat Sorry if things are confusing. You may use the 100 tiles for anything you want....all living space or a combination of living and landscaping. For example, I would consider a pool or a hot tub to be landscaping. Hope this helps clear things up.
Thanks @EuphorialQueen. I was just double checking because 100 tiles to do what you want with seems huge in a MiniMicro build. Makes it easier for the idea I had

I based the idea on the 10x10 lots we use to have in Sims 3....we could use the whole space for living and landscaping space. If you think it's too big of an area, you could use as little of the space you'd like.
And I have a suggestion actually inspired by you @ButtonsGinger. I had a little looky at your sims 3 blog and saw I dream of Jeanie builds.(I loved that show I used to sneak away to the canteen and watch it while I was at work occasionally) so i tried and failed miserably to build something that looked like a genie's bottle. ( I have not given up. ) but thought maybe it would make a good theme.
@Charliimai
Sam-I-Am is so cool. The Trainspotted lot is very creative with the train car as living space.
The Genie and her Bottle home is also an inspired lot.
@ButtonGinger Maybe there could be an "Anything Goes" #MicroMini Challenge?
Allowing the full 100 tile space and unlimited budget. The creator could go wild with any theme. Then present their creations and related themes here.
What do you think? Special themes could still be presented to provide ideas.
PS: My Doctor Who build is still sitting incomplete. It just is 'not good enough' to meet my vision yet.

@ EuphorialQueen.Thank you Also I like your idea of Anything goes challenge. *Put my thinking cap on*
1) Old news by now, but: Rabbit Burrow got the Maxis badge of favour? I ... wow. I actually found this out a week ago when I pulled up the gallery via the web and noticed that Rabbit Burrow had a sudden burst of downloads; I didn't know what to say then (other than "buh-huh? what?") and decided to put it off until I got home, but now I'm home and I'm still not sure what to say. I guess: Thanks for putting it forward, and thanks for the congratulations.
2) Oh, new themes. I'll have to think about these. I'm probably going to slow down a bit with the building. The game is fun and all, but it's taking up a little too much of my creative juice, which I kind of need for other non-building projects.
I'm not sure if this one counts, I have many of the rooms pulling double duty, using the roofs as patios. There is no yard either, just a big pool surrounding the house. I got the idea to make this house from an art object I saw in buy mode (forget the name of it) Anyway enough talk, here's Lilly Pad The Sim pictured in there is Siren Song, the real one (I have a few for some reason) both are in the gallery to use
@Charliimai I love your I dream of Jeannie build! and your sim!
Welcome home @Xinqun Glad to have you back! Join us when you can! @EuphorialQueen Your Anything goes theme sounds great! I'll write up something when I can in the next couple days!
@Paneth48 Lilly Pad looks awesome. As long as it is within 100 tiles it can work! I didn't see a download link, but my eyes are a little blurry, if you have one post it or tell me you already have....love the pictures!
I have a travel day tomorrow and then work days to catch up for time off over the weekend. I'll be checking in as much as I can. Thanks for all the support in this thread! Your all super simmers!
Finally got my Doctor who build finished Here it is: The interior is very basic I'd like to give a great reason like the aliens that moved in had little use for unfunctional /decorative items or I went with a minimalist theme.
But honesty I have a 6 year old complaining about me taking too long on the computer.
Oh.....this is fabulous! I love Green Eggs and Ham, it's a favorite at our house. You did a wonderful job! The capture of Sam in the kitchen is perfect. Adding links to the index, asap.
