The inspiration behind this world is disaster. Part of the town will be built to look as if it was abandoned or falling apart, with buildings here and there that are newly built or unfinished. (Ps. I know I'm not that good at sculpting.)

Looks interesting.
There is a burnt-out shell of a house in the CaW listings that might work well with this theme. I cannot tell you which Expansion it game with however. There are also half-sunk house boats if you have that expansion.

Sorry it took a while for me to respond. But, the only cc I'm including will be a few roof recolors I've made. The world should work just fine without them.

I like the name Harmony Hollow for the world. I did a search and came up with a house called that but, not a world. So, I think that will be the final name. Unless I was wrong and someone has already taken that name. But, if so, it's an easy fix. Now, on to Beta photos.

I love the look of this world. (And I think your sculpting looks great). My first impression is that it looks very much like a real town. The houses have different architectural styles and look like real homes. This is something I appreciate in the sims 3, that we can have realism or fantasy. It really looks like you know what you are doing. Can't wait to explore!

The only "bugs" I've found so far that really bug me is that a wall in one of my houses keeps loosing it's texture no matter how many times I repaint it. So, I give up on that. And the firetruck in the station disappeared after saving in CAW. But, you can go into debug and place a new one. After many hours of testing I've found nothing big. So, I'm going to go ahead and upload the first Beta copy.

(Ps, I would love to see pictures of what people do with the world. Any broken or abandoned homes that get a makeover etc. And of course if there are any bugs I didn't catch let me know so I can fix them.)
