Foundation Steps: How do add stairs?

I used the foundation height slider to make my whole house a little higher but how do I had front steps up to the door? The stairs aren't snapping into place and they are still massive huge.

ETA: Nvm, I just rotated it and moused over another part of the house until it worked.
