@CravenLestat A very true description but Prissy would never walk to the shop to buy a loaf of bread. Her house mate named Meek Valentine, a nerd who is deeply in love with her would run around and do all of her favours. She has him wrapped around her little finger!
She is a nice girl though, when you are in the same room as her. Just wait until you leave the room and she would comment on your clothes, your career choice or your taste in TV shows and if you are a girl who likes the same guy as her then you had best watch out for some pretty heavy competition.
One thing to learn about Prissy is this, she always gets her own way and she always wins. She was good fun to have at University though

@cwaddell Thinking about the Jones mansion, I was actually motivated enough to go in game today. First time in over a month. I put the grand staircase in there ... took a look at the rest of the home ... and then quit the game! That place is odd. But I think I'll go back in and try to make a few renovations. I've never played in that house before.
Here's what the Now and Then Manor staircase looks like in the Jones home. It still takes up a lot of room, but the rest of the house is huge, so that doesn't matter as much as it did in the original Manor house. And the Jones place already had a large entryway staircase to begin with.
The first thing I did, though, was make a few changes to the front porch and door. The original had two different doors and the stairs leading up to them were separate. Unique, but bizarre.

Oh it looks good there. There's enough room on the sides. If you do some more work on the Jones mansion be sure to post pictures. That place is a nightmare of a maze in its original layout. I'd love to see how you make it more livable.
I also saw another good use of those stairs by a simmer who used it in an entry hall similar to the Landgrabb mansion in Sunset Valley. They divided it in half and placed it on each side of the entry hall.
Today, my sims opened their first bakery. Although a prospect customer stopped by, he definitely didn't buy anything. Bummer, I hope they are able to maintain this bakery before the pastries go to waste!
Another thing, I think I'm liking more my plumbot Betty more than my sims themselves. She's so funny, and very naive.
She went to the wishing well and wished for wealth and power. Turns out, the fairies HATED her at first, but felt sorry for her after Betty kept falling into the well as she attempted to steal the coins.

I've done a design project there once and I didn't like the pit they've got hidden.
@lanlyn Speaking of Skyrim, I can't like that game the same way I did with Morrowind and Oblivion. I did the Main and the Imperial Legion Quests and I feel through it. I didn't even buy the expansions. I can't understand why I feel like that. Maybe it's because the game drew too much attention and I have an Aquarius side that enjoys being different from the others. XD The orcs there are amazing, though.
The thing that I find wit the Ashley Corono haircut is that it was very popular a few years ago with some girls. I used to see it a lot around town, usually the type of girls who unless you are built like a Marine, have loads of tattoos and a very deep voice, you are not going to have any chance at talking to them so you can forget about sitting at their table.
It is amazing how different Sims look with certain hair cuts which is the same IRL. Some hair cuts really do go well with some Sims!
I am super excited about this Now and Then Century Manor and I can't get simpoints fast enough! Haha I also can't wait until the Hanson family has enough money to be able to afford into the Grandpa's Grove house I have.

Operation Matchmaker has suffered a setback. While I was playing a different family, Marigold got engaged to Chaz Custard. (He was married to Caroline Custard originally but she died of old age). Chaz is really old now too; his age bar is full up. I hope he doesn't suddenly expire on Marigold!
I shall have to see if Lucy wants to pair up with Buster. Darn Sims and their high free will
Moira is a child now! She aged up just after moving into The Creamington, so she didn't have a party, as her parents were a little disorganised. Here she is, enjoying her birthday cake.
She has got green eyes I'll try and get a better pic of her to show them off.
A few days later, Morty became a teenager!
He looks oddly creepy here. I think the slicked back hair adds to his sinister look.
Sadly, Mars passed away of old age I think she was about 88, so she had a good, long life. She shook hands with Grim and went willingly with him but Cyrus, Saturn and Jupiter didn't take it well. Although Jupiter chatted to Grim afterwards for a while.
A couple of nights later, Cyrus heard a strange noise outside. He dressed quickly and went downstairs to investigate. It turns out that Mars was missing her husband and friends and had come back for a visit.
Cyrus was afraid at first but when he realized that it was Mars, romance soon followed.
Cyrus was happy to have Mars jump in his arms.
After a bit of cuddling, they soon went back into their familiar old married couple routine. Cyrus went indoors to play chess and Mars turned on the TV to work out. She scared Violetta, who had come downstairs for breakfast. At about 07:30, Mars returned to her grave, hopefully to pay another visit again soon.
@cwaddell I've seen a few neat designs using the two staircase side pieces too. Some are just beautiful!
@thuggishsplicer The Jones home would make a great castle. Fun project. ...RE: Skyrim. I haven't gotten into the game the way I was with Morrowind and Oblivion either. I thought it was because my sister, who was my usual gaming partner, passed away about the time we were going to start playing, but now I think it's more than that. I have the expansions, but I haven't even finished the main quest.
@cwaddell@thuggishsplicer I spent a little more time last night redoing parts of the Jones mansion 1st floor. Mainly got rid of the basement walkway. I have no idea what that was supposed to be. I didn't see anything down there. If there was anything there, it's gone now!
Here's a screenshot of the front group of stairs that led down to that "pit." There were more stairs in the back of the house too. All wasted space.
And here's what I did after I floored it all in--just basic functional things. The first area became a new dining room, and the second area became a small TV room. I also put black and white tiles in the foyer (typical for those types of homes), rearranged the living room, converted the arched walkway on the right to a small waiting room, put rocking chairs in the room where the dining table used to be, removed the third fireplace which was on the porch and replaced it with a washer/dryer in that odd chimney room.
After doing that much to the Jones home, I checked in with my active household, ready to tuck them into bed and quit the game. Instead, things livened up a bit. Ruby got abducted. Thank heavens it wasn't one of the guys again!
Ernest, one of our resident ghosts, woke up.
He made himself some tea...
...then wandered around the place until way after sunrise. You'd think a drowning victim would stay clear of any bodies of water, but Ernest loves water. He uses the sauna every time he shows up, and I guess he doesn't mind wading through the wishing well either!
It feels strange in the household without good ole Roy. He's in the Wild West now with Holly and Riley. I need to figure out what the Criminally Challenged family will tackle next. Can't leave them in domestic bliss too long!

So today in my game, Nao and Loki are loving up on their new baby Skye.
Loki is especially happy. He gained like 15,000 aspiration points with the birth of Skye (He had 3 locked wishes for a child). rofl.
The baby has been a bit taxing on their needs though. Nao still makes every effort to play with her beloved Strawberry.
Loki is really dying for the lack of sleep. He works and comes home to care for baby Skye. (I wish the hubbies had maternity leave too.)
--- to give Nao a break and a chance to get out of the house.
Baby Skye had her birthday! I had Loki right away teaching her skills.
Isn't she a cutie? xDD
I love how Loki autonomously snuggles and plays with her. It's so adorable. ^_^
Big happy family eating together...and Loki rolls a wish to have another kid! XDD
Nao wants to get back to working though. Her LTW is to become a News Star Anchor and she's only level 4 in the journalism career ladder. : / She puts having another baby on hold for now.
Loki in the meantime is just loving up on his little girl. He spoils her... ^_^ He bought Skye her very own bumblebee play set. ^_^

So, today in my game summer has finally arrived! (I love the deer. There are sooo many in this world.)
Little Skye is now a child. She had a great birthday too. Her papa Loki keeps gifting more things. She's becoming spoiled rotten. (Did you guys know that if you gift a child 3 times in a row, with different things, they get the moodlet "SPOILED" and have a tantrum if they are not gifted with something new before the moodlet expires(?)..xD I died laughing when I witnessed this today xD)
Nao has been on a roll with her career. Until this morning.. when she woke up sick...-_-'
Today was Skye's first day of school. Loki was so excited for her. He cancelled two meetings just so he could pick her up. ^_^
When they got home. I had Loki change to help Nao in the garden. Nao told Loki the news that she was pregnant. Loki was so happy!
Nao and Loki headed over to the hospital to get check out. The couple found out they're having another girl. ^_^
Grandma Kiko came by to help the expecting family out. Here she is helping Skye with her homework.
Loki is super excited to have another child. He frequently autonomously tries to listen to Nao's tummy. So cute >_<
The couple decided that Skye and the new baby will share a room. Skye isn't happy about it. (Loki is using the other room as an office and they're both girls..soo..xD)
Nao meanwhile is doing well with her pregnancy. She's having a much better experience than with her first pregnancy. (She's also not as big to me too) Here she is making her famous "firecracker shrimp" lol..xD
After finishing her dinner, she goes into labor. Loki immediately rushes her to the hospital.
Grandma Kiko arrives to watch Skye. Skye becomes jealous. She knows when mom and dad return home, she'll no longer be the only child.
Meet baby Autumn. The new addition to the Loki and Nao household.

What a stressful day in my game today..xD : )
Well, no such luck on my part. I don't know if its the world, Angel City, or if its my computer, or because I moved 7 sims and a dog from a previous world, but I'm having constant lag, hangs, freezes, and crashes when I try to play. It gets so bad that sometimes one or two sim-hours go by before the sim actually does the action.
I played in Angel City before, with a new game and using an existing household, and I didn't have these problems. It was also when I had half as many EPs so it may just be too much of a load on the game.
So I'm going back to my Starlight Shores save and try to move them to a different town. I'm going to try Coasterboi's Los Aniegos and see if I have better luck.

I opened my previous save, and I stayed in Starlight Shores this time until everyone aged up. Then I resaved and will look into a new world to move them to.
After some more searching, it seems Los Aniegos is the large version, and Angel City is the small version of the same world by Coasterboi. So if I'm having trouble with Angel City, then Los Aniegos probably won't be any better. My computer is an i3 with 3.4Ghz processor and 6 GB of RAM, and an AMD 7700 graphics card, so it should be ok. My dad bought a used computer with an i7 and is going to trade me processors because he doesn't need that much. Hopefully that helps.

@lanlyn Great update again! I had to laugh at the ghost 'hanging around after day light' and also by the water. I think Sims develop slightly different interests or personalities after they die

Yes Prissy is not bad looking but she is not 'my type' as such. Her personality is quite bitter as well so a lot of guys steer clear from her but now and then a new man will full under her spell and you would have to take pity on him
She also has the stonehearted lifetime reward so she never actually gets hurt herself
Just saying hello.been doing a painting job today and will wrap up my 3rd video in a bit and the hard part will be editing this one cause my sim is a failure so have like 200 video clips of fails she was awful at first and really frustrated me but she is awesome now.But this will be a really good Sims 3 got talent am excited about this one.

@imdragonit Thanks for the comments This is one of the few large and long established threads that I actually really enjoy because compared to a lot of the forums, especially TS4 related pages, there is no arguing, no dramas and no reason to doubt ourselves as Simmers.
Instead it is a group of people who enjoy the best of the series showing off pictures and videos and quite often I find out that I learn something new that I haven't seen in the game as well

Nao has been on a roll with her career. Until this morning.. when she woke up sick...-_-'
Today was Skye's first day of school. Loki was so excited for her. He cancelled two meetings just so he could pick her up. ^_^
When they got home. I had Loki change to help Nao in the garden. Nao told Loki the news that she was pregnant. Loki was so happy!
Nao and Loki headed over to the hospital to get check out. The couple found out they're having another girl. ^_^
Grandma Kiko came by to help the expecting family out. Here she is helping Skye with her homework.
Loki is super excited to have another child. He frequently autonomously tries to listen to Nao's tummy. So cute >_<
The couple decided that Skye and the new baby will share a room. Skye isn't happy about it. (Loki is using the other room as an office and they're both girls..soo..xD)
Nao meanwhile is doing well with her pregnancy. She's having a much better experience than with her first pregnancy. (She's also not as big to me too) Here she is making her famous "firecracker shrimp" lol..xD
After finishing her dinner, she goes into labor. Loki immediately rushes her to the hospital.
Grandma Kiko arrives to watch Skye. Skye becomes jealous. She knows when mom and dad return home, she'll no longer be the only child.

I opened my previous save, and I stayed in Starlight Shores this time until everyone aged up. Then I resaved and will look into a new world to move them to.
After some more searching, it seems Los Aniegos is the large version, and Angel City is the small version of the same world by Coasterboi. So if I'm having trouble with Angel City, then Los Aniegos probably won't be any better. My computer is an i3 with 3.4Ghz processor and 6 GB of RAM, and an AMD 7700 graphics card, so it should be ok. My dad bought a used computer with an i7 and is going to trade me processors because he doesn't need that much. Hopefully that helps.

Yes Prissy is not bad looking but she is not 'my type' as such. Her personality is quite bitter as well so a lot of guys steer clear from her but now and then a new man will full under her spell and you would have to take pity on him
She also has the stonehearted lifetime reward so she never actually gets hurt herself

Instead it is a group of people who enjoy the best of the series showing off pictures and videos and quite often I find out that I learn something new that I haven't seen in the game as well
