Awhile a go they said they were "working on" a way to get us more color selection (I think it was in AskGuru on the forum) so maybe they found a way. *crosses fingers*

I remember they would post scrambled pictures or cryptic messages about some TS3 store item or venue, and not one person was able to guess. Not one. They are the worst at dropping hints.

I don't think it's crazy at all. It's a reasonable assumption, and for players' sakes I hope it's true.
