1. All votes must be clearly stated in the form of Vote: Emzy. Any other votes will be ignored unless you state that you are on your phone or whatever and have difficulties bolding your votes.

2. Unvotes must be bolded as well, and much be shown as either Unvote: Emzy or just Unvote.

3. Once someone has a majority of votes, they will be lynched as soon as I, or Sam, update the thread. Any Unvoting once a majority has been reached will not count, so be careful with your votes. However, gameplay, including by the recently lynched player, may continue after a majority is reached but before I, or Sam, post the official lynching.

4. Roles will be revealed upon death. This is different from some other games, so be sure you are aware of it.

5. Dead players are allowed to talk during the Day, but please do not influence the game in any way and keep discussion limited.

6. If I send anything to you privately, do not copy and paste it into the thread. This includes your role email.

7. Do not edit the content of posts! All information that you post must be visible to everyone. You can fix your grammar or formatting, but if you have another thought just post another time. This is to prevent information from being hidden from people.

8. Do not use small, hard to read text, or invisible text.

9. Do not talk in code to other players.

10. Failure to post after 24 hours will result in being mod killed.

11. Night will last no longer than 5 hours. You have plenty time during day to send night actions in early. If I, or Sam, do not get a night action from you after 5 hours of night your action will be randomized using Random.org.

12. Be kind and courteous to all other players. No fighting in the thread!

13. Enjoy yourselves! We do this for fun, remember that!

2-Shot Chef:
• Chooses two people during the night.
• These people will be invited to a Christmas Dinner at night
• The people will be told each other’s roles but not each other’s identities.
• The way this will work in my game is I will tell two people of the Chef’s choice that they are attending a Christmas Dinner with *role*
• Example: “You have been invited to a Christmas Dinner! You are eating with the Chef and a special guest, a tailor!” and the other person will receive the same but the special guest will be your role. It is the players choice whether or not to share on the thread if they have been invited to a Christmas Dinner previous nights.
• This is a role from Epic Mafia that I like and I have altered it to fit Forum Mafia.
• You may only invite four people to a Christmas Dinner for the whole game, so you only have 2 Christmas Dinners to hold, each with 2 invited guests of your choice.
• Players attending the Christmas Dinner can still be killed at night.
• Wins when all threats to the Elves are eliminated.

Angel:
• With your role pm you will be told the name of one person.
• During any point in the game you may choose to save this person.
• This means they can be saved from a possible lynch or a night kill. (I have altered this role slightly to make it a little more fun.)
• Also, remember that this person can be mafia aligned or town aligned, or even third party aligned! So be careful when you decide to save them!
• If you save them from a lynch, they cannot be lynched that day.
• If you choose to save them at night and they have been targeted, you, the angel, will die instead.
• Wins when all threats to the Elves are eliminated.

Penguin:
• During the night penguins will “waddle” over to another person during the night. This person will receive a message.
• The message will be “During the night, a fluffy penguin has visited you and told you that [Player 1] has visited [Player 2]/ [Player] is carrying a suit/ [Player] has/has not taken an action over the course of the night.
• It is the persons choice whether or not they share this message at day with everyone else.
• If mafia receives a message they are allowed to share it in their mafia chat.
• If visited (by chef, tailor, santa or any other visiting roles) the messages will not be sent and the penguin will receive a message saying “The reindeers blocked your road last night, you could not deliver the message to [Player]!”
• If the penguins visit each other at night all night actions will be cancelled
• Wins when all threats to the Elves and Santa are eliminated.

Santa:
• Visits two players every night.
• Will learn if the first player is “naughty” or “nice”
• If Santa has searched his list for a third party he will receive “Oh, I don’t know! I don’t see *name* anywhere on either lists!”
• Will not receive a report if visited (could be visited/ saved by angel that night or visited by Chef or Tailor or anything else)
• Will give the second player an item such as gun (a working gun) or a vest (saves the person when they are hit, will only save them once. Does not save them from being lynched)
• I am making the second player choice 1-shot. This may seem confusing, but it is a powerful role and I don’t want to make things too town sided. So Santa can only gift a gun or vest once during the game but can investigate one person every night.
• Wins when all threats to the Elves and Santa are eliminated.

Mistletoe:
• Chooses two people to put under the mistletoe each night.
• If the players have visited each other, or one has visited the other they fall in love.
• If players haven’t been visited, or visited the other then the love fails and mistletoe is told that the love has failed.
• Wins if all players alive have fallen in love.

Misunderstood Elf:
• Has a bomb and can set it to blow up once at any point during the game
• If the bomb blows up a member of the mafia it will win alongside town and cannot win with mafia
• If the bomb blows up a member of town it will win alongside mafia and cannot win with town
• If the bomb blows up another third party role it will not win
• The bomb can blow up even if the Misunderstood Elf is already dead but only if they have said what day or night they want the bomb to blow up before they die.
• Will still win if they are dead

Vanilla Grinch:
• Makes a kill as normal with mafia buddies

Tailor:
• Visits one person every night
• That person receives a Christmas Costume chosen by the tailor.
• The costume is just one of the other roles in the game
• If this person dies his/her role will be revealed as whatever the tailor chose for their costume
• The person only wears the costume for that night
• Wins when they control 50% of the Elves (+Santa)

Evil Elf:
• Visits one person every night
• If that person is Santa, Santa will not receive the investigation report
• If that person is a Penguin, the message will not go through
• If that person is Mistletoe, the mistletoe will be told the love failed because they were blocked by the evil elf.
• If that person is angel and angel has decided to save that night, the save will not happen (that’s if the person angel saves has also been targeted by mafia to be killed)
• If the person is 2-Shot Chef the banquet will not happen and the Chef will be told the Evil Elf stole the invitations.
• Wins when they control 50% of the Elves (+Santa)
