Chrissie, have you experimented with making half-walls...I mean walls where the top above the wainscotting/chair rail is transparent?
That's a totally different beast from what I am doing and I don't know how transparency would work with walls. I would imagine that would require new meshes etc. I would think in future eps, EA will have half walls.
I have just come across your lovely walls and downloaded them. Thank you for sharing them. I generally prefer walls with moulding at the top and bottom. It find it is more appropriate for the classic style of house that I like to build, but it is not easy to find, so I was delighted when found I your walls. My favourites are the three floral ones with white wainscoting. They look so effective in the game - the patterns are pretty but also subtle and believable and the moulding looks really great. I would love some more of them, if you are thinking along those lines.

Thank you FKM, I intend to make more walls with molding etc (dv).
Very nice! I agree, WallEz is easy to use. The hard part is making a decent wallpaper image in Photoshop. Mine was so bad, I didn't even want it in my own game!
Hi Nay,
I am an old hand at making walls, I have been making them since the sims 1. I did find it challenging to make the three different sizes for one wall. I use The Gimp as my paint program.
Your wallpapers are indeed very elegant and look great in the game.
Now I am using Sims 4 Studio to make walls and WallEz to make floors. I still have terrible taste in wall design, however, I did manage to make some nice chevron marble tile walls and matching floors for use in my contemporary urban bathroo m, and it looks FABULOUS. https://flickr.com/photos/lynnallen/15499825710/sizes/o/
(for some reason I can't embed images today)
Yes, the add an image icon appears to be missing. However, type this in before the photo link >[IMG][/img] Then after the photo link place this: bracket backslash / IMG bracket
Back on Topic: All of those walls look fabulous! Very nicely done!
