aspirations.complete_current_milestone - Completes aspiration goal for satisfaction points.
So you could take aspirations you know you wont level because they don't fit your sims, do the first 2 or 3, and collect those satisfaction points. If you do all 4 you get the aspiration traits.
My current feelings about The Sims 4. Here is hoping The Sims 5 can restore The Sims franchise.
There is a mod over at mod the sims that makes the amount of points needed much, much lower. I think the 4,000 point ones only cost 300 or so with the mod.

This works. I can confirm but I think of it as a cheat since you pick the reward you want.
