Also, showing us the cow-plant is NOT showing us Gardening. That's showing us the END RESULT of a lifetime of mastery. We want to see a bit more about the process.

NO mourning in the house? The husband and the father of two children just died? And he had good relation with all? Where is the emotion when needed in this game???
Guess what Bella is happy within 1 hour of mortimer's death???? What is this?
Everything I post is an opinion here and I think every post of others is as well.
Grim reaper is there and not a single sim is there to plead or anything? Smarter? NO WAY
Maybe you have to have a certain level of relationship to plead for mercy -- the dude was basically dropped in off the street (or the Gallery). If they'd gone ahead and killed Mortimer you might have seen Bella or the kids plead.

That's TS4 for you. Atleast in TS3 the sims would cry for 2 days.

Agreed. I wanted to see gardening. I know it's not that big of a deal, but it'd be nice to see a little bit of it, even if it was just someone planting and caring for some tomatoes for the first time.

It's not the dad who died. It was the random Sim they downloaded. No one even knew the dude. (Still, though, there is a CORPSE IN THE KITCHEN. And now his ashes decorate their breakfast nook.)
For me,this doesnt ruin anything with the game. like blaming the car if it waves back and forth down the street, driving like its drunk lol but i had one plum of a time laughing at those playing it.
