I am new here, so I'm a little puzzled. I thought challenge 52 was open until the end of September, but here above it states it's officially closed per September 15. Can I still enter my building?

Challenge 52 'Uptown Elegance' is now officially closed @pinkpeonygirl but it would be wonderful to see pictures of your building. Challenge 53 'The Hawthorne Project' is the current challenge and the details for this are posted on the first page :)

Do we need to include every skill from the base game or every skill from the ep's too?

Just the EP's you have, and make sure to let us know which they are :)

ENTRY DETAILS: The house gives a "new york style" feel with exterior bricks and elevated floors. Inside I prefered to keep a calm and light air by using white/blue colors, contrasted by the dark counters. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, two for kids and one for parents, and a spacious bathroom. The family can enjoy their time in this charming house by playing chess, or improving their skill in painting or guitar playing. The exterior provides a nice garden too where the family can spend sunny days!
PS: I have Dine Out and perfect patio. I have bought a total of 19 skills books :)

@BuildnShare I have a curious question. If you judge off of photos, how are you going to know if the books are there? Will you be downloading the builds for this challenge?

I chose a cottage style build for Randy Davies, who is a painter. The peaceful surroundings would inspire him and make him more relaxed. There is a nice veggie garden at the back for Jacqueline and there is also a fishing pond for extra activities. The musical instrument i chose is a guitar because it might interest Hamish more, being a teenage boy. There is also a dart board for him to play with in his room.

    ENTRY DETAILS:
For the house, I was inspired by a house and house plan I found online—a traditional style but with an interesting angled living room. I used a warm palette for the interior colors to make it seem homey—with the exception of the bedrooms, which were designed for their occupants. I created a small backyard pool as "the piece of fitness equipment" and provided a guitar for Hamish. I did try to stock the bookshelf with skill books for skills that couldn't be pursued by objects already in the home.

ENTRY DETAILS: This was very challenging for me. 45k isn't much for 3 sims but I made due and created a modern house that I feel the Davies would really enjoy. I wanted the house to be inexpensive but have a lot of potential to be a breathtaking house once the Davies make more money and can upgrade things. Each child has their own room tailored to them, and the house has plenty of separate spaces and patios for sims to hang out and practice their skills. I feel that this house can live up to all of the sims needs!

ENTRY DETAILS: I made a modern two storey, 2 bath, 3 bed home with open plan living areas using the house plans from here: https://www.houseplans.com/plan/2298-square-feet-3-bedroom-2-bathroom-0-garage-modern-39079 as I really liked the layout. It has lots of outdoor space upstairs and a small outdoor play area for Piper on the ground floor. I tried to fit in as many skill objects as I could in the space but unfortunately no room for monkey bars this time.
