      Do you mind if I also drop off my own experience with what solved my problems with my mac copy of The Sims 3? If this is an info thread I want to make sure people who might share my experiences get all the information and help they need:

      A detailed solution for those Experiencing the Disk Authentication Error (credit for the solution goes to caspinwall)

      A borked thread? Why is it ALWAYS the helpful threads that get screwed up? This thread, as well as my help thread, takes 5 posts to a page before the page shows up.

      Why does this never happen to your utterly useless (apart from the super patch one) stickied threads on this forum EA????

      Hi :)

      Do you know if the Sims3 works with "OS XMountain Lion" and "Mavericks"?

      By now I have "Lion" and it works so far until the ep Showtime. But I would like install a Boot Camp for the Sims 4 and I heard OS X Mountain Lion works better with the Boot Camp.

      I would happy for your help :D

      Yes it will. The OS isn't the problem, Cider is the problem.

      Boot Camp is for Windows on your Mac, NOT OS X.

      Ohh thanks and sorry for my English.

      I know, I would like install the Boot Camp at my Mac for Windows 8 for Sims 4 but my Sims3 stays at the Mac (Lion at the moment).

      But I would like to install Mountain Lion or Mavericks and don´t know if the sims3 works with it.

      Yes, Sims 3 works with Mavericks and even Yosmite which is the next version of the Mac OS. :mrgreen:
