Hi guys,

I just shared an Indian style home. Finally I got to use the India set from the store. This home is called Jewel in the Crown and it has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, library, kitchen, dining room, 6 balconies and a wrap around swimming pool. I hope you guys like my build. All comments, downloads and recommendations are very much appreciated. Here are some pics:

Jewel in the Crown is such a very nice Indian home! Very nice and grand exterior of it! The roof topper and the dome roof structures look great! The balconies are very nice. It looks nice the type of windows that you have used and how you have placed them. Very nice arched gateway to the property. The wraparound pool around the edges of the lot looks great! It looks nice how you have placed the water fall fountains on the sides of the pool. It looks great how you have used the arches through the build. Very nice square grassed water fountain features either side of the front entrance. The sculpture pictures on the exterior of the home look great. Very nice Indian themed furnishing of the interior! The living room is very nice. It looks great how you have placed the bookcases either side of the tv. Sims will enjoy relaxing on the sofa there, whilst reading a book from these bookcases or watching tv. Great type of sofas that you have used. The items on the table in front of the tv and the pictures on the wall are great for sims to see when sitting there. The type of light you have placed beside the sofa with the candle enclosed within the glass in the middle of the light, which you have used in the various rooms suits the home very well. The wall pattern is nice. Very nice arched alcove areas where you have placed the red curtains either side of them and have placed the lights on the wall behind the arch and have the jug and the elephant under the arch! Great patterned floor mats. Sims will enjoy playing the grand piano or enjoy sitting nearby listening to it being played. The dining room is very nice. The pictures on the walls are nice for sims to see when eating there. It looks nice that you have used the star ceiling lights in the various rooms of the home. The flowers on the dining table look nice. Nice side table there with the lights on it and the sculpture wall décor items either side of the mirror. Great design of the kitchen. The wall shelf beside the fridge and on the opposite wall looks great. The type of kitchen counters that you have used look great. Nice patterned wall tiling in the bathroom. It is an elegant shower and bath tub for sims to bathe and shower in. The bathroom water fountain looks nice there. Very nice furnishing of the bedrooms! Nice shades of raspberry and gold that you have used in one of the bedrooms. It looks nice how you have used the screen there. The bedside table lights in the bedrooms look very nice. Very nice pattern that you have used for the bed in the bedroom with the orange shades of colour. The way you have done the curtains in the bedrooms look very nice. Very nice single bed room. The Indian elephant pictures on the walls look nice there. Great bed alcove area. It looks great how you have placed the shelves with the items on them on the bed head wall. It is great that you have placed the bookcase beside the bed so that sims can lay in bed and have a read. Great study desk areas in the rooms for sims to use a computer at. Very nice sitting area where you have placed the 3 elephant pictures on the wall behind the sofa. The vase of sunflowers on the table at each end of the sofa looks nice. Very nice covered over balcony area for sims to enjoy relaxing on the sofas and seats and enjoy the outdoors air. The pots of plants there look nice.
It is a very nice home, both in the design of the exterior of the home, the outdoors areas and the furnishing of the interior! It is very detailed, with very nice colours you have used!

Oh my, what an gorgeous Indian house :shock:
The shape is absolutely breathtaking and Cambodian stone carving around the wall is great idea! Beige based interiors with lots of Asian decors are beautiful too. I love it! Left you a big rec

This is a gorgeous build, Yanti! I love the mix of old world Indian with the art deco feel! You were able to blend them so seamlessly, and works fabulously as a whole. Wonderful!

I love the shape of the whole thing, the outside shot is fabulous. Beautiful inside furnishings: really impressive. I love that bathroom! Thanks dear Amy! My inspiration was Taj Mahal! I was trying to recreate it without exactly copying the design. So I created a mixture of Taj and a residential Indian build. Glad you liked the cambodian stone carvings! Was saving that especially for my Indian build. Thanks so much for recommending. Very sweet of you. ((Hugs))
